Can't start dbdl after recent patch

Step 1 launch game in steam
Step 2 easy anticheat window completes
Nothing pops up after Step two. I stopped the game via steam and got an error that easy anticheat didn't like one of the dll files for my vive (vr head set) after rebooting and verifying the game files it is still not launching and I no longer receive the error about the vive
