Any updates on performance improvements for Switch/PS4/XBOX?
Also any info on when solo survivor will get some sort of communication in game?

Nope. I think they went silent for a while on last gen performance issues.
Brace yourself for comments from nice people like: "your fault for playing on a toaster" when new games like elden ring work perfectly fine on said consoles.
I kinda accepted it at this point since it is not exactly re chapter release kind of bad. At least they did something even tho it definitely isn't enough especially when you play killer and get robbed because of the freezes.

The PS4 was so bad I had to switch to PC and now I don't have any of my cosmetics 😕 I there any way to get them transferred over, or would that fall under cross progression?

I know at least on xbone and ps4 that they are cpu limited, not gpu limited and are working on it
