Glyph Pursuer didnt spawn any green glyphs?
idk why but I did two matches trying to understand how they worked for a future challenge of the new tome. I had 2 end-game matches. In 1 match, I broke all totems and memorized their locations, none had spawned. In the last match, all totems were uncleansed and none spawned near the totems as stated in the description.

Same issue here...I've been trying to find a Green Glyph for over 3 hours with at least 10 Endgame matches. Tried cleansing and leaving them alone. Tried as both Killer and Survivor. Tried before the Endgame and during... I've exhausted all methods, possibilities and combinations.
What am I missing?

Same. Found all totems. Even tried it with small game. Killer and survivor. End game. Still no green glyphs.

Just did it as Killer on PC.
They already appeared before the endgame at 2 gens remaining. Spawned at the totem points. Gave 500 points and at the endgame 1000 points. When the endgame triggered they were revealed for a short time.
You could do all 4 in one match. I thought only one would spawn.
Maybe select another challenge and then go back to it again. I heard this could work when a challenge hangs.

They can be where a totem would spawn, even if no totems spawned there. So basically just run around listening for them.

i have been trying for hours, the glyph just never spawns. i get no notification in EGC idek anymore im just gonna wait till its fixed.

I had one match where I found one with 2 gens left and other was revealed during EGC but in the next match when I had a farming killer so was free to search I didn't find any glyphs and there was no reveal during EGC.

i figured it out, you can't not play and just look for the glyphs. I played a normal killer game and after I hooked and killed 2 they started to spawn and when I say they I mean multiple I got my challenge in one game.

EDIT: Some people have now mentioned that they have started seeing the glyphs before the 3gen completion mark. Also keep in mind that "anyone running the challenge" can see them, so you may be sharing glyphs and just not getting there first. I have done this challenge in 2 matches (with myself being the only one confirmed with the challenge one of those matches) The first match 3 spawned. The second match, I got my 4th, and they continued to spawn for the rest of the match. I still didnt start looking til 3 gens were complete, but that was just my choice. Less stress IMO =)
Original Post: You have to complete 3 generators before the green glyphs will appear. They are tiny, unlike normal glyphs, and they appear close to the ground, the same as totems do, in the spot where totems are.
You can hear them just like you would red glyphs.
I have yet to see any show themselves during EGC, but i have found all of mine really easily after the 3rd gen was popped.
I expect they dont spawn before the 3rd gen to prevent people from joining just for glyphs then DC. So just play the game like normal and after the 3rd pop, run around a bit to spots that totems could spawn. They are like little totem glyphs. Dont give up, its super easy. If anyone needs any help with this quest you guys are welcome to add me and Ill run a game with you to help!

You can find the green glyph totems at the places where totems usually spawn, not at the locations where the totems have already spawned. And from what I can tell 2 can spawn per person. So basically the more people that are doing that challenge, the more glyphs will appear.

This is not true.
I started looking for green glyphs as soon as I spawned into Dead Dawgs. I found the Huntress's hex totem and cleansed it. I got attacked and ran away. I got away and found Mikaela interacting with a green glyph. I could not stop her. I don't think a single gen was done yet, maybe 1 if any.
I ran back to the huntress and let her send me to the next match.

I don't know if the green glyphs are bugged, like people here think, or if it's just that someone else in your matches have been stealing them from you

I also ran the quest for 5 matches and haven't seen/heard a single glyph yet. We are a group of four, so only the killer would be able to steal them. Any info?

Just found my 2nd green glyph.♻️ ♻️ The first one was on the Grave of Glenvale map below a staircase in one of those back rows of buildings. The other was on the Crotus Prenn Asylum map near the exit gate behind a pile of burnt sticks. They are hard to find due to their small size and the fact that they seem to be hidden behind objects like Easter eggs. I saw the aura appear (just shows you the general direction of the glyph) when opening the exit gate on Crotus Prenn and went searching for it.

Even if you grab the Green Glyph and DC, won't you get it? That one hell of a way to cheese the challenge and I honestly doubt that you get a stack on your tome challenge. If this is true then I would like to see proof of it. I mean, granted I could do it my self but I already finish the challenge. xD Note: No one should try to DC after getting a glyphs.

I wasnt aware that if you DC you wouldnt get it. It was just a theory as to why some gens may need to be done before they will appear. Some have now confirmed that they see the glyphs before the 3 gen completion mark.
I am in 100% agreement that people shouldnt DC after getting glyphs. I dont believe that there is any reason to DC a match, rage or otherwise. Matches rarely last longer than 15-20 minutes, If you dont have the time to put in the effort (good or bad), dont queue up lol.

So, They "share spawn locations" with totems. They dont necessarily spawn where the totems themselves spawn during that match, they just share location. So finding where your particular 5 totems are in a trial wont necissarily help. You just have to know where totems might/could spawn.

DC topic aside, let's go back to the main topic.
So you can find it before gens can be popped? Granted, I did it during EGC as I feel like it's both challenging and easy to deal with. Also, it is just me or when you get to EGC, I only see 2 instead of 4?

I did mine with 2 gens left, I never even looked before 2 gens but some people have said that they did theirs in the beggining when at most 1 gen was popped.
I got 3 during my game, and did not see any during EGC. To my knowledge no one else in my group was on the quest, as the killer was friendly and helping me, and the survivors were all part of my SWF. Can not 100% confirm though. Killer was Console so there was no post chat chatter.

13 matches, ONE green glyph. Ridiculous. i´ve dedicated all those matches entirely on finding glyphs, but there were almost none

So a bit of new information.
I just did a match as ghostface. I started the match in the killers shack, I checked where the totems can spawn in the shack. Nothing. After the 4th gen pop i started to slowly find my glyphs, one of those 3 that I found in the match WAS in fact, INSIDE the killer shack where I looked prior and it wasnt. So they don't necessarily spawn at the start of the match.
I spent the entire match running around, memeing with the survivors and looking for glyphs, and not a single one showed itself until towards the end of the match.
Just because the glyph is not there at the beginning of the match does not mean it wont spawn later in the match.

You are correct.
Green Glyphs do not spawn at the beginning of a match at all. You have to actually complete some of the objectives before they spawn. So survivors have to complete generators and killers have to hook players before their respective Green Glyph spawns.

As a frustrated player: would you please mind adding that stuff to the descriptions in the future? This ######### is annoying to figure out, not fun or interesting.

I appreciate that, and yes it's something that I have discussed internally and this will be done, unfortunately there was no time to update the wording on the challenge prior to the last bug fix patch (translations all have to be done etc).

Where would I report a bug of a green glyph not letting me interact with it? I took a clip of the gameplay to show. I popped 3 gens before even looking like I normally do, and this lil guy would not let me interact with it at all, I even went and popped another gen to see if it would fix it, but still no interaction. But I do still need 2 more glyphs for my challenge.

EDIT: For clarification, this clip is after i came across it with 3 gens popped and couldnt interact with it. We popped another gen and this is me going back to it, and still unable to interact with it.
