How would you rework Pig?
What it says on the tin xD
Pig is the reason i bought DbD and I'm obviously a bit disappointed in the killer (go figure)
How would you rework her to fit snugly in the current meta in a balanced (but strong ^^") way?

This is just my opinion, but I think the Pig's base kit is only a few tweaks short of being a decent Killer. She needs her Traps to be a bit more consistent (I personally would make all RBTs take two boxes minimum to open), her ambush needs to be less telegraphed and overly reliant on mindgames (raise the Pig's FOV when crouched, delay the roar, maybe even let the Pig jump a pallet when ambushing), and please let the RBT timera auto-start again when the EGC begins. There are ways to prevent guaranteed deaths during that time without needing to resort to such a heavy-handed nerf.

Ambush should start faster (crouch and go, not crouch, wait, load ambush, ambush).
Ambush should get a speed buff.
For Traps: Survs should not be able to get the key out of the first box they search + with Trap u shouldnt be able to leave through Hatch.

Give her an anti-loop ability similar to Trickster's but instead of knives she throws used needles to make it more canon.

what do you think of traps being activated after unhooking, would be closer to the movie and less survivor reliant?
And being able to put it on a survivor after hooking them
OhTofu had an idea of RBT to each take a different number of boxes to open, one trap is on the first box, the other on two boxes and so on, you don't know which trap is which when you set it, but you always get the same value

I LOVE the idea of pig jumping over a pallet with her ambush and landing a hit!

Or how about dropping RBT altogether
Instead, put hook alternatives around the map, the glass tubs from the movie, or the syringe pit, that require rapid skill checks to escape, and you have to escape yourself, other survivors can't get you out?
Though the flaw in this idea is already obvious: Camping. :(

Very fair point ^^" I'm just spitballing here honestly. The idea was something like PH cage, subverting hooks but tweeked so it's not the same and does not require survivors stepping in that rust trail or whatever it is. The downside being that you need to get survivors TO the trap that's fixed on the map like the boxes are instead of just hitting a button when you down them.

Ambush sound affect only plays after the pig activates it.
Survivors who were hit by Ambush automatically receive a trap.
Increase base trap to 5.
Increase the timer on the traps; increase time solving jigsaw boxes with a deactivated trap; decrease time solving jigsaw boxes with an active trap.

I honestly like her kit the way it is.
Wait, hold on, let me finish. I meant that as in like I like her kit's design. I do believe she's underpowered (no certain DBD game designer, she isn't A tier), so here's the tweaks I'd give her:
- Baseline Workshop Grease (increased ambush charge speed, decreased missed ambush attack cooldown)
- Baseline Combat Straps (faster crouch), maybe a bit faster than that add-on
- Require survivors to search for at least one jigsaw box in order to actually remove the RBT. For instance, the first jigsaw box they try to search will never have the key to remove the RBT. Should make her RBTs more consistent.
There might be more changes to make but idk those are just the ones I had in mind.

Reduce her RNG by reworking her RBTs. Each trap requires a certain number of searches, with one coming off first try, one taking two searches, etc., with the last one requiring 4, but these are in a random order. Then add a 5th box so she can’t camp a box for a guaranteed kill (effectively shutting down AFK pig).
Give her back her 28m terror radius and make combat straps basekit. She could probably use some improvements to her ambush as well, given how weak it is right now at most loops as the survivor can just run away.
Some addons could also be adjusted. Amanda’s Secret for instance is terrible.

saw themed lobby and chase music!! Not anything to do with the power but I still want it, and making the survivors have to mend after being hit with an ambush would be pretty neat

Roar at the end of ambush, charges faster, moves faster. To put it into perspective, even running both addons to make her charge faster and move faster it's still terrible. That's how bad it is.
Remove the sheathing sound from crouching, it ruins its mind games.
Box auras should be hidden until the RBT is activated at base kit.
Give her an extra trap at base.

What would YOU as a survivor main, like to see done to the pig so she's more fun to play against?
I asume you find it fun to play against a killer or you wouldn't be here, right? :) If you remove all the killers so you don't have to deal with tunneling, camping etc, you'd just sit on a dark map holding M1 right? ;)
