An Unrelenting Change; Feinting
I wanted to see what people thought of adding an idea of feinting into the game, preferably as a perk under Unrelenting.
Feinting is usually a mechanic that allows a person to avoid doing full commitment on attacks without punishing them.
I think the ability to feint your lunge attacks would help spice up gameplay without breaking it. Here is what I propose;
A killer with the Unrelenting Perk, along with the 45% miss cooldown reduction, will he able to cancel a lunge by pressing RMB before the end of the animation. They will slow for 0.5 seconds and can interact with objects like pallets, walls, generators, vaults, etc. The cooldown between lunges remains the same.
This can allow the killer to potentially bait out pallets early and eat through them faster without the full punishment of a missed swing, which makes the risk of throwing a pallet or not a more focused decision on whether they will commit to that lunge or if they may or may not hit you. Plus I think its a good way to bait out Dead Hards you know are coming up without having to shake your cam about.

I hate the idea of core mechanics being perks. And fing graphics settings. Half the roster has a feint anyways. When they're staring at you for dead hard use your power button to start an animation.

Wraith, in a way. Then the ranged killers. Thats really it.
