SBMM Needs More Work.
I've got about 70 hours on survivor and have lost maybe 15 of my last 20 games.
The other survivors were an evidently new console player, a 120 hour survivor and a 600 hour survivor.
The Nurse had something like 4500 hours.
I'm not sure if this was a backfill situation or someone with a deliberately tanked MMR, but it was a particularly unfun game - we got slugged and killed off within the first few minutes of the match and I lost a pip because something about the system pooped the sheets.

It’s probably a backfill or just that killer being in queue a really long time. They have to eventually play somebody and if nobody is available in their bracket then it will ultimately just put them in the next avaialble match.
Another less likely possibility is they either stink at that particular killer (every killer character has an independent MMR so it’s entirely possible for someone to be great at some killers but lousy at others. I’m a decent killer overall but a total scrub with Nurse for instance.) Or that they throw a lot of matches to artificially lower their MMR.

No, this guy very clearly knew what he was doing. Perfect blinks, defending his Ruin, basically just zipping around the map slugging everyone and then hooking.
I'm guessing it's either an MMR smurfer or backfill.

How so?
I'm decent on nurse and I still like Flannel as a QOL addon, especially if I'm playing in the daytime (the reflections on my screen can make it harder). Watch is just a decent addon all round.
Regardless, he's running full meta perks and has 4x more hours than all the survivors put together.

If perks mean nothing and hours mean nothing...then what means anything?

It needs an entire overhaul. As long as kill/escape=skill it will never be anything but a useless garbage system

Devs said that Kills/Escape=Skill.
And recently they "improved" SBMM.
But seeing what happened in your match is cuz either that Nurse really hard tanked her MMR or BHVR SBMM is just tr4sh.

They fiddled with numbers, nothing more. The stack will just shift back and we will be back where we were before the tests.
