Reporting a hacker on PS4
Hello, I played as a solo survivor with cross play on, and another survivor in my lobby was cheating, resulting in the killer DCing. They had boon perks (Boon: Exponential and Boon: Dark Theory) that weren't on the end game screen as well as Up The Ante and Open Handed. I have the match recorded on my PlayStation and can upload it to YouTube, but my reporting seems limited because I can't give anymore information than just my cloud ID and the video. I feel horrible for the killer having to DC and get a penalty because this match was completely unfair and want to do right by them because they didn't see the perks being abused like I did. How do I go about submitting a report formally with the little information I have? Thanks in advance 🤗

I was surprised when I met a console cheater a day ago. Also ps4.
They healed instantly multiple times during chases and they were in swf I think with a ttv guy. Both with French accounts.
I dunno how this is possible. It was not a pc cheater for sure because I checked their psn profile.

@Shaped I was playing on PS4, the other people were cross play so I am unsure what platforms they were using... Although I did play against a cheating console player before cross play was available, it was a Plague with brown add-ons that made you instantly broken.
Where can I post my video for review by BHVR? Or am I out of luck being on console? 😞

Hey, I never bothered with reports because I am also on console, so I don't know how to do it.

You can also send the video to Sony. Apparently they take hacking on console very serious and might delete the guys account, and maybe lock his console to where he can't anything at all as well

Did you make an in-game report on the end-game screen? (It’s where you select one of the 4 category’s wirkt the icons; for cheating/hacking it would be the icon with the broken gears)?
this is mandatory, if you haven’t done this then sadly you won’t be able to report that player.
if you did, you can create an Additional Player Report Ticket on the link I will provide at the end.
There you can fill in all the fields, on player id you gotta put in the players gamertag and in the description you should mention you were playing on PS4 and the player was cross play.
the video will be too big to actually upload directly on the report ticket, so it’s best to upload it on a video platform such as Youtube (there you can upload it as an Unlisted video, that way it’s only available for others with the link). The link to the video would need to be put in the issue description as well.
