Petition to remove Haddonfield?
It can't just be me, right? Coconutrts has made a video on it, new Haddonfield is still abysmal to play on as killer. Can we just remove it as a failed mistake already?

RPD is the only Map that needs to be deleted, it straight up isn't made for DbD, and never will be.
Haddonfield can be fixed, and probably was on the PTB (console player, couldn't check it out), but yeah, it's not much better than pre-nerf, I'd say it'll probably better once Survivors know how OP the God Windows inside every house are

No?
Coconut mains Huntress, I believe. He’s gonna have some hatred for semi-indoor maps from the get-go.

No thanks I’m enjoying the map :)

He was playing survivor in the video and he literally looped someone for at least 2 minutes around a single house. A SINGLE HOUSE and he wasnt using the god windows that much.

No.

why am I the only survivor(solo) and killer who likes RPD and new haddonfield I also like the game
1 -
Its fine

The only issues I have with new Haddonfield are that the middle is a giant deadzone and the double god window house. Other than that, map seems fine. Its issues can be fixed quite easily (unlike a certain police department.)

Haddonfield is just fine the way it is.

So he played against baby killer?
Single house, he did not use any god windows and 2 minutes loop? Yeah clearly baby killer lol.
And Coconut's opinion is nothing to me. He is not that good.

That sounds like major incompetence on the Killer player's part, not an issue with the map design or even a display of impressive plays on the Survivor player's part.
2 -
No, we just got it back. We need more map variety not less.

"Look a dumb killer followed a single survivor for 2 minutes straight, change map pls."
3 -
Literally any smart survivor can easily make a 2 minute chase at one of the houses. If the killer was to leave for another person they would most likely run the house for at least a minute. The ignorance of "just leave to go find someone else" is... idk what to describe it as.
4 -
The killer he was looping was terrible tho lol.

I've seen good killers not able to do a thing other than hold w and vault until entity block because the windows (which can take more than 3 since chase can be lost in the houses) are that strong....
1 -
He wants maps with no pallets. It is very killer sided map now. I wouldn't lose any sleep if it was removed at this point.

A single example, an argument is not made from.
3 -
It's not ignorance. The house window vaults are good, but you shouldn't just mindlessly chase one survivor around a house for 2 minutes. The day of the patch pretty much all of my matches were New Haddonfield, and I never had this issue. And on the killers I play that use Bamboozle it just shut these down.
1 -
I am killer main, why i have not problem on Haddonfield anymore?
We should never listen people like Coconut. If we listen him and balance game, nobody would play survivor anymore. He is just bad at game. He is nothing with other killers, only Huntress.

The window vaults are good. The dark corners in most of the houses are good. The wide streets are to keep generators far apart. Its a good map. All that said, chasing a survivor around a house mindlessly until the entity does your job for you does not a bad map make. Maybe try to mind game some of corners.
I've played the map numerous times as Legion, Nemesis, and Sadako and not had an issue. Though my Legion and Nemesis typically have Bamboozle, which kind of handles the whole window vault situation.

😅 this

You really can't mind game the houses. Unless the survivor is bad and keeps running without making sure you are behind them, there is more than enough distance for the survivor to just run away if you try to double back around the walls.
Not to mention that even if you entity block the vault, there's another vault they can use.
The houses are absolutely ridiculous in their current state without at the very least some breakable wall to reduce the distance needed to play around the windows. Since they are basically just an extreme version of the long fences on old haddonfield that people complained about, but now with vaults.

Most people just use the same window vault over and over. In the Strode house people run through and vault over the fence in the back yard and then vault through the window on the front porch. Just blocking one of those cuts them off. Hardly ever do I get someone jumping out of the second floor window because I can catch up to them instantly unless they're using balanced landing.
The house next to that one is your typical house setup with a basement so that one isn't an issue at all.
The house across the street from that on the end has that window vault inside the front right room that is the most commonly used or they run upstairs and hug the edges of the room with the hole in the floor. and fall off the porch.
The house in the middle on that side is another typical DBD house setup and the one on the end has that vault out the back as well, but its so close to the back door and the only place to go if you try to run around the house is a straight line to the front yard that its very easy to catch up with them.
These are not invincible loops that all killers are at the mercy of.

One of the houses literally has two vaults on the same side on the 1st floor.
And obviously the houses aren't invincible as you'll eventually bloodlust and catch them. But unlike playing around a TL or a normal jungle gym, there's no real option to outplay the survivors at the houses. Majority of the vaults have no alternative path so you either vault after them or go all the way around the house. It's a huge time sink and it's not like strong pallet loops where you can force them out of the game.

Haven't had much chance to elaborate on my thoughts, but Haddobfieldseems powerful for both killer AND survivor.
Right off the bat, I'd say its survivor sided. It's so dark, you have the houses, those pallets and whatnot.
But its a ticking time bomb. The longer you stay there, the advantage seems to go to the killer.
I'm sure survivors will perfectthe map in a few months but so far I've been having fun on both sides.
It may not be perfect, but I'll take what I can get.
We could have gotten a new Eyrie.

Prob cause people still don't know how to run the houses effectively. Like coconut isnt the best survivor nor did he go against the best killers but even against good killers they wouldn't be able to do anything but hold W for the houses.
0 -
I mean just look at any survivor that knows how to run the windows effectively. The houses are absolutely busted and how people call the map "more balanced" now is really a mystery to me.
1 -
Ngl sounds like you didn't go against survivors that can't run the house. If you bamboozle the living room vault they're gonna run around to either the front porch vault or the back porch vault. Not to mention the vault upstairs...

asking for maps to be removed is a waste of time, unless its licensing issues or planned rework,
IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.

I like the new Haddonfield, killer main as well.

RPD needs to be the priority. That map need to be launched into space
