Resident evil remake

Since capcom has revived the resident evil 2 game do you think DBD could ask to have the nemesis, tyrant,Mr.X as a added DLC to the game, perhaps a raccoon city map?

These are some scary people man!

Not to be pessimistic, but think like a business negotiator. What can DBD gives to RE? They don't need DBD money, and certainly they don't need extra promotion (if anything, DBD's the one that'll be promoted if it can bring RE characters). So yeah, it's pretty one-sided, which heavily reduce the chance of collaboration.

Yeah he got a point it would be a one-sided business agreement. It's like asking a fry cook is there any possible way to collaborate with a head chef. Dead by daylight what gets a lot out of this while Capcom and Resident Evil 2 won't get much of anything. At best we get a whole new character, killer, map and at best they get some cosmetics and maybe a new enemy type. You can see where the balance of disagreement is a little off-putting

bleh just make simular characters, change up a few things and call it good. ;)

did miramax and the other companies get anything for letting DBD use michael myers?
did new line cinema get anything for the freddy dlc?

im sure they have a ton of cash so why wouldnt capcom take in some cash..cash is good, cash is king!

looking at it in a business man fashion

None of the classic bad guys especially tyrants would be a threat imo. Their attacks are too short range or linear and they need super speed to use them which would make them imbalanced killers.

Movie studios may have a lot of money, but they have practically no income from video games, so collaborating with video game company is a pure extra cash activity.

Meanwhile, Capcom already make video games themselves. For companies like these, collaborating with a rival video game company become a question of opportunity, not just cash. Because, a business man wouldn't want to promote a rival company just for petty cash. So they need a significant gain from collaboration, which BHVR probably can't provide.

But ofc as you said, DBD can just change up some details and make original characters.
