A honest question regarding the anniversary streams reveals.
How do we know you will actually enact what you say and announce about gameplay on May 17th? Last anniversary it was said that Mori's and Keys would be changed too. Mori's never changed and keys were made redundant if anything. It was also said by Mathieu Cote that there would be funkos, which again, we never saw, So my question to BHVR is should/can/how can we believe anything said in this stream? I'm not trying to be a smartass or be a ass, it is a serious question cause of what was promised and not actually put in place last year.
Key and Mori info timestamped here:
and funkos are said at the very end.

Remember when they touted the automatic ban system before realizing it was an awful idea and never speaking of it again? Pepperidge farm remembers.

I don't have high hopes either. It takes them extremely long periods of time for most changes and even when they promise things that have been needing for literal years, we are lucky if it comes in the next couple of years

i agree, I just find it hard to take what they say with any weight, hoping i get a answer here but... yeah

I'll watch recaps/rediffs only for the reveal. It's sad most of their talking looks like empty promises.
As a man once said: "Ce que vous dites, c'est de la poudre de perlimpinpin".

empty promises is really what it will feel like, I'm hoping they can address the worries

Announcing things that are then never mentioned again seems to be par for the course. I was surprised when boons actually did become reality.

They did rework mori's!
It's called playing Sadako.
No really, though. There's a lot not fulfilled from last year's anniversary.
2 -
Kind of a pity that was the one they chose to go through with. :P Would have much rather had a mori rework. Or Funko Pops.

Expect smoke & mirror changes as the devs chase their all important casual audience.

I still remember the last Q&A with all those AMAZING answears like "we don't have this planned as of right now" or "we can't talk about this atm"
7 -
To be fair, it was proven more than a few times that the community is not suitable for any information about things that might not be released. So showing any concepts or talking about their thoughts will always go wrong.
6 -
Wait you mean asking the exact same questions every single time won't give a different answer?? Shame
3 -
Nah I am sure next time they will answer the questions when cross progression is coming for consoles, when Myers gets a buff (and a nerf), and and when the grind will be addressed. I mean… outside of the Q&A how else would they even know it’s being asked by the community literally everywhere all the time??

What I mean is that often when they said that they were working on something, they stated that there is no ETA given for that. And STILL people believed, the thing they talked about will 100% come to the game. Sometimes with "They said this Midchapter-Patch.". I remember the Early Game-thingy they were talking about. They scrapped it at some point and said that and even afterwards, it was still asked.
And it will probably be asked about during the next Q&A.
And on the other hand, if they have questions which they dont want to answer for whatever reason, they can either say that they will not be able to answer them right now OR they can ignore them. Either way it is bad. So if people complain about them saying "We cannot talk about this", the alternative would be to not even mention the question at all, which would be equally upsetting (at least) for those who were asking.

It would be cool if all the question they can’t give an answer to would just get listed as such.
that way, the community that upvoted those questions so numerous would still get their answer (or rather: acknowledgment that the devs have seen the question and aren’t able to give an answer) and more interesting question that didn’t get upvoted would get more dedicated time in the actual stream.

Oh hell yeah, I remember that. The forum just blew up with concerns people had regarding this feature. And then we never heard of it again.
Just don't reveal or mention something when it's not even close to release please.

Why do a stream then, in the first place. You can't blame people for wanting answers on certain topics, only to get an answer like "we can't say anything". Don't take the question when you can't answer it.

I can see your point. But some topics are best to not mention if you don't deliver on it. Like the autoban feature that was mentioned. You can bet the forum/audience will be concerned when you mention something like this. Especially when people report you for the dumbest reasons, like things that are not against any rules.
And what puts more oil to the fire, is when you mention it and not say anything after that. You can't blame people for their concerns when you remain as vague as possible. I felt for the mods on this forum to deal with the outbreak of that action. Luckily it died down after a while.

So, you would be happy if they would just ignore them?

That’s actually what they did in the beginning and they have been accused of cherry picking the questions and ignoring the questions that the community actually wanted to get answers for.

Guess BHVR just dont care then

The biggest problem of the streams is the amount of time wasted going into lengthy details for “not soon” topics. They are spending half the stream reading these questions one by one, then giving a long winded conversation, just to say “not soon” at the end? They could save so much time by having a “not soon” section of the stream, where they say “the following topics will not be implemented soon”, then list all those topics at the same time.

I have no doubt you will have a complete write-up prepared anyway. :P

I'm ngl I could probably copy paste half of the answers and nobody would notice

dude that would save like 40 minutes tbh

@MandyTalk Can BHVR do or say anything to make the fans trust that this event will be different and that we can actually believe what you guys say?

Personally I cant wait for them to answer important questions such as who will be receiving a shirtless cosmetic. After all it's a very passionate subject in the community :)

Frankly, there's no need anymore.

I mean, they don't have control over whether Funkos are made or not.
Everything else, c'est la vie.
