Should Certain M1 Killers Get A Boost?
There's some killers whose power has become so niche or has no map presence whatsoever, with nothing to really help them in chase unless they've already set things up like this.
I think a 5% Haste boost would help immensely with some killers in their looping game for those who don't already have a power for it.
The 5% boost won't help much with map control. That can only be resolved with map design and gen speeds. But it would help with killer looping, which often has taken way too long with killers who don't have a power to handle it, forcing them to either camp or tunnel to start snowballing, which isn't fun for anyone.
Here are the killer speeds I would propose, and their justifications:
The Trapper - 120%
His traps help with loops but they are limited in number and require a lot of pre-planning to execute it. Not to mention time consuming, and if you're running loops where he doesn't have traps, it becomes irritating.
The Doctor - 120%
Although his power can stun a survivor from making a vault or loop, it requires very precise timing and isn't nearly potent enough to justify not giving him a little boost to ensure he can hit. Unlike Clown.
The Pig - 120%
Her ambush can be used at loops. But its far from fully effective, not to mention designed for stealth despite how poorly its used in that regard.
The Ghostface - 120%
Getting the jump on people is important but there's some areas that are just not approachable. When Ghostie is being looped, he has nothing. A small boost here would help him secure these loops better; not as effectively as say, a Nurse or Spirit, but give him something to work with that other killers don't have.
The Shape - 120% (Tier 2 and 3 only)
The Shape in general has just fallen out of favor the last few years. Once he was king, now he's struggling.
The rest of the killers remain with their usual speed. The rest usually have some power that negates or helps with looping, or which is deadly enough to justify not boosting their speed any more than they need.
This isn't a perfect solution, obviously. Reworking the killers or buffing them will always be a better solution. But I think that extra bit of speed here would help immensely in their otherwise weak looping potential.

Wait for Dead Hard nerf before buffing M1 killers.

we shouldnt just make their speed faster and actually rework their abilities more

This would helo but it seems like a easy way out which I wouldn't be surprised if this route is taken. The doctor is the one person I would take off this list because then there would be some technicalities like "okay well this killer also can kinda stop loops but not really" and that would be a whole other mess. But pig and trapper and everyone else you mentioned will always be low tier no matter how much they do to this game unless they change the core of the game or their powers. I'd even include sadako. Every M1 killers is inherently disadvantaged because they don't control the chase. Going forward they defiently need to have some anti loop in every killers kit they just need to be creative so we don't have a artist situation ( Extremely powerful but boring to play and play against) I'm aware some people have different opinions on that however I'm speaking for the majority. Sadako kinda reinforced the whole M1 killers will always suck no matter their map pressure because chases take so long so it doesn't matter how fast you can get to people if you can't kill them.

Certain killers are slightly slower to compensate for their ability. Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster, etc.
Why is it we can't make certain killers slightly faster to compensate for their lack of ability?

Making more interesting powers is far more fun than just "i walk fast."
Power budget has to be spent somewhere, you dont want it to go into having a fun, interesting, engaging power?

Here's the thing:
How do you make Trapper more interesting? Give him all his traps? I'd be all for it, but that isn't more interesting. That's just buffing his kit and letting him access it easier.
Also, a 5% power change can take literally 30 minutes. Its not difficult. We've seen what BHVR can do; buffing handfuls of perks at a time, buffing multiple killers at a time... We've seen them do these things. Chosing between buffing a power and buffing movement speed is a false dilemma.

Because every Killer has the ability to chase a Survivor and injure them while using M1. And this is taken into account with Map Design.
You will make a lot of Loops really bad against Killers with 120% Movement Speed.
Buffing their ability is the way to go. You should not mess around too much with Movement Speed.

This is not taken into account with Map Design. Map Design is some of the worst aspects of DbD. I made a whole thread how the main house in Haddonfield is pretty much busted for any killer that doesn't have a mobility power, and that's a part of the Map Design. Its almost an infinite for Demo, and is an infinite for someone like Trapper or Doctor. The loop is so long that unless you have some good anti-loop or speed you can't catch up.
So I don't know why you're talking about Map Design like it isn't a source of the problem.
Also which loops would be really bad? Which loops specifically? Because besides already unsafe loops, the worst that the common tiles would have is maybe you get one less loop from a pallet. Which, considering their power isn't compensated anywhere else, is fine.

M1 killer should walk faster , they should have movement 120 %.
