Not sure if my Legion game was bugged
Just played a Legion game and it was very odd. I used Legion's power and landed my first hit on David but the 2 Bills that are nearby, their heartbeats didnt appear. Tried it a few more times and I noticed, it worked on David and Felix. I gave up and just played it normally with M1 hits. Is Legion buggy at the moment or is it possible they were hacking?
The 2nd and 4th survivors are the Bills. The 4th survivor have a record of previous VAC ban.
If you are a legion hater, just move on another discussion, would love if you could spread your negativity elsewhere. If not, any thoughts on this?

hysteria causes injured survivors to become oblivious when you hit a healthy survivor
legion cannot detect survivors with oblivious after getting a hit in frenzy

That's the thing, one of the Bill was healthy. And was in my terror radius since he just saved someone nearby.

Are you sure he wasn’t healed recently before that happened? You can be injured and have hysteria activate and then heal and you’ll still be oblivious for the remainder of the 30 seconds.

Yep very sure. Game just started and I saw one Bill hid in the locker in Killer shack. Hooked him outside. The other Bill ran away. I have yet to injure even one guy at this point. David was nearby on the hill outside killer shack and just before I reached David, Bill was unhooked. Hit the David and there was no heartbeat. I get it the unhooked Bill doesn't have any heartbeat but there is no way, the Bill who unhooked had no heartbeat. Despite the never sleep pills, I couldn't find anyone (Felix was on the other side of the map at that points of time).
As game progresses, the first Bill I hooked was beside David. Bill was healthy probably healed cos he was on 2nd hook already. I hit david with frenzy but no heartbeat was detected on Bill but I can see it on Felix (healthy because I didnt find him the whole game).
There were other occasions where they were suspicious but this two occasions were very obvious. Hence I was wondering is it a weird bug going around or possibly hacks since hacks nowadays on DBD can pretty much do anything.

Legion's killer instinct is completely based on your terror radius (unless you have the +20m addon, which is its own radius). If a survivor cannot hear your heartbeat, then you can't hear theirs.
Despite this, a very complex and fun way I've been running legion is with stealth builds. Sure I sacrifice tracking, but I know how to predict survivor locations and chase them without much info.
If you really want to have a stealth legion without losing your tracking completely, use Monitor and Abuse. It throws survivors off with the wild variance in the radius.

If you want to run Hysteria then you need to run Nurses Calling or use the glasses add on to see people mending. That way you can double back and catch people unaware. or just use the oblivious add on and then use a better perk.

I get the heartbeat theory, but I am very sure that was a bug or something because the 2nd Bill was definitely in range when I hit the David.
OMG thx for the monitor and abuse idea, was wondering what killer can use it but I totally forgot that it helps with extended terror radius when in frenzy. Gonna buy it since its in the shrine of secrets, thanks a lot for the idea! 😁

Haha yea, I've been experimenting Legion with Nurse Calling, Fearmonger and Hysteria since these perks works well with Thanatophobia and other add ons. I am just addicted to using Never Sleeping pills since it helps out with bigger maps. Thanks for the input but I guess I am just going to stick to 1 of this 3 perks. I am just testing different builds out, I don't really mind losing (I'm guessing I'm in low MMR now since I kept losing a lot for my legion)

The Oblivious Add On for Legion is better than Hysteria since it procs on you hitting them. That way they are oblivious for 60 seconds after you hit them, but they'll always show up for Killer Instinct.

Will probably use that once in a while, I am just addicted to never sleep pills and the 0.3m/s add on at the moment. It's just so fun to have longer lasting frenzy especially with the new music 🏃♀️

Theoretically, what if a Bill had the Blue Glyph Challenge?
Blue Glyphs can afflict you with the Blindness and or the Oblivious Status Effect.
It's a bit of a stretch but not completely out of the window.

thats where i got it too lmao. When you strike someone you get a large "pulse" of killer instinct (Cause you have a 48 meter radius) then you go quiet again (32m radius)
