and how COH takes a lot of time and is a big time investment on the survivors part to set it up than it is for the killer to manage it.

i was looking at the SPOILER upcoming content and saw a thread talking about some of the perks, and people theory crafting on if they're strong enough to even shake up the survivor perk meta. then the convo went to, any new perk is gonna have an uphill battle trying to be relevant because the meta perks for survivors have been the same 5-6 meta perks for the last 5 years and until they're rebalanced its gonna take something equally gamebreaking to shake things up like how until COH came around.

What they mean when they say that is that they don't actually understand how DH works at high level play. Same for CoH.

they're probably apart of the reason why bhvr doesn't listen to feedback for so long because some people are delulu and have no business having a platform to suggest nonsense. it might be genuinely hard to differentiate between genuine suggestions and people just being outright bad at the game.

"Just bait deadhard" is something either survivors arguing in bad faith say (because they know using it to dodge hits is not a legit argument) or is something that survivors who have no idea how to actually use DH say (because they actually are just using it to dodge a hit so it is a bad perk for them as they're using it wrong).

It means they don't play Killer at all, or play once every 3 days or so

    1. Too many players don't play both sides.

    2. A lot of people in this community have a major entitlement issue.

Some killers have actions they can perform that can mimic the start a basic attack, so you "bait out" dead hard by making a survivor think you're going to take a swing, but actually don't.

Sometimes you can get jumpy survivors to dead hard just by looking up or down and making them jump at any movement of the killer.

People complain about noed, but deadhard is in everygame and rewards more bad players than noed ever has or will.

the most likely reason, deep down they know the real strength behind DH, but they want to keep it on the low

Yeah. Survivors making 1 NOED thread each month and killers 2-3 DH threads every day. Equal complaints.

Cause there are situation where killer even complain about DH if its just used to dodge a hit. Those uses can be easily baited by faking a hit in close distance.

And yeah how is CoH a big time investment? How about doing your math?

It's survivor slang for git gud. Usually, something you throw out post-game chat after the killer (usually playing a strong killer too) got 1k and complains about how unfair DH is.

    It roughly translates to:

"I still parrot phrases from before Dead Hard validation, when you would have to anticipate a killer attacking in order to dodge the attack, therefore I still assume that just getting close to a good player will make them dead hard randomly and then you get a free hit."

    In regards to CoH:

    "I don't understand time dynamics in a 4v1."
