What, specifically, do you mean by "took away what made her kit unique"? As I understand it, aside from add-ons, the only thing Spirit lost was the stand-still mindgame.

If you think stand still was the only unique thing about her, then you either never played as her or never tried using her in other ways.
What made old Spirit unique was her unpredictability. Get a hit on survivor and they start running towards the shack, she could phase around the shack and get the down.
But Spirit was nerfed like every other killer so survivors could have pinpoint information on how to react. Killers guessing is fine, but survivors guessing is a problem.

I am on the side of spirit is fine but the sound mindgames work until that survivor is good fam, no good survivor will fall for a spirit sound mindgame if they have audio and some sense of the game.

If it’s a long enough loop no good survivor will get caught, but that’s not that place it should be used. There are small enough loops that by the time you double back and lunge there is no way a human can react to it. It’s like Blight, you can do different mindgames at different loops, it’s not a one size fits all.

Spirit is invisible while she moves, doesn't have to slam into an object to become a threat, and can use husk to bodyblock are probably the justifications for why she's 110% ms.
Barring that she's just suffering from being an older killer design.

Tbf blight doesnt have a 2 second charge up to their power and can use the first rush to make up the distance, body blocking vaults doesnt really work because they can vault through your husk if the husk is blocking the other side of the vault, but you are correct on the pallet part.

I think he did make a point when he said why is blight 115 percent move speed while spirit's is 110, and I have to agree. Blight should really be 110 percent move speed when considering the strength of his kit.

The thing is, if you made blight 110 it really wouldnt change anything, if you made spirit 115 it would change a ton

I just don’t have any sympathy to give Spirit. Yes, she got nerfed, but those killer instinct addons? Yikes.

There are many times when as Blight you need to chase around a loop. The slower speed would increase the strength of those tiles. And it also will increase the skill floor to use Blight well.

It's not his main strengths tho is the thing. I dont think a good blight player would really care if hes 110, he would still be able to do everything he can rn

Spirit was never fun to play or to go against
As a killer main i hate playing her and its the killer i refused to play against as a survivor
Now that she isnt the best killer in the game (yes, she was better than nurse with the right addons), people dont play her cos they know its not fun to play
Tldr : killer isnt op anymore but stayed a not fun to play killer > people dont play her
(Btw she still is one of the best killer in the game, just in the top 5 instead of the top1)

I mean that's subjective, I always liked playing as spirit I just avoided it before bc her power was cheesy. Now I enjoy playing as & against.

Yes, she is countered by one perk, and that's pretty much the only counter to her power. You can counter Blight by mindgaming him and make him rush to the wrong side, you cannot do that to Spirit unless you have Iron Will
She can body a team pretty easily if they are all not running IW, all meta perks work great on her just as on Blight, she is weaker but please do not compare her to Blight where people can actually counter him without a perk.
Play against a good spirit without Iron Will and then tell me she is neglected
She was maybe nerfed but she is still easily far above every else except Nurse and Blight

Then how else is she suppose to track survivors with her power?
IW makes survivors not existent
Chase music drowns out almost all sounds even if she catches up
Killer instinct add ons is essentially giving her a 4th sense, since she can't see or hear.

As a former spirit main and most former spirit players I've talked to. We stopped playing her because BHVR nerfed her to be like every other killer and gave survivors too much information to counter her

If that's how you see it, than go ahead and believe that.
But the reason why I stopped playing her isn't because she's no longer OP (never saw her as OP in the beginning)
I stopped playing her because they took away her unpredictability, which is what made her 'stand a chance'

Which was exactly the problem with the killer and what made it op in the first place
People asked for months to nerf spirit or give it a kind of counterplay which never existed. There was NO counterplay to old spirit, just a coin toss on the survivor side
The ONLY "counterplay" was to predrop every pallets you encountered
The nerf was totally deserved and when sit got nerf, spirit "mains because she is fun to play not because she is op ^^" stopped playing it altogether

Clown got reworked to be an overall worse killer because of his exhaustion add on being removed. While Spirit got nerfed, she's still a top 4 killer.

And why is guessing a problem for survivors in this game, when most PvP games you are guessing to get somewhere?
Again you can not justify a nerf when no one plays the killer anymore.
Sally was nerfed and people still player her, that's a justified nerf.
Billy was nerfed, and I've lost count of the last time I saw him, which is a unjustified nerf.
Pig got a add on rework, and I still haven't seen her since her EGC nerf.
If you don't see what I'm getting at than let me ask you this.

The Teacher is the most neglected killer. I can never get his Trapple perk to work right.

So your entire basis of strength is popularity? So then Legion must be a top tier killer now everyone plays them right? Artist is worse than Trapper too, by that logic.

This isn't nessesarily about popularity and it has nothing to do with strength.
Again for the 6th time, why call it a justified nerf if no one plays them?
WHY DOES IT TAKE NOT SEEING THE KILLER ANYMORE FOR PEOPLE TO SAY THAT THE NERF IS JUSTIFIED?
Rin Yamaoka's uniqueness was taken from her so that survivors could have consistent counterplay. Her only add-on combo that gives her uniqueness survivors want it nerfed, and if BHVR nerfs it she'll die AGAIN!

Your first two sentences directly correlate. You say strength and popularity aren’t related, but then say a nerf was unjustified because no one plays them. It’s just confusing.
Again let’s take your logic and apply it elsewhere. Survivor would be boring if Dead hard gets nerfed, as it’s unique and there’s no perk like it. It needs to stay untouched otherwise no one will use it!
