legion will be nerfed 100%
for you guys to have an idea, I didn't even get in chase with mikaela who disconnected, I just find it very annoying because every match at least one person disconnects, these survivors will be who will nerf legion like they did with the wraith, it seems we can no longer have killers fun to play, they ask to buff the character, but then they cry, unbelievable, I know people can not stand more legion, but this hype of legion was only at the launch of this att

Legion's not OP in any way but he is really awful to play against
42 -
in solo q I kinda agree, because you don't know where are the other survivors, so you don't know where they get hitted and may screw you
4 -
If you see Deep Wound happen and you don’t hear the terror radius, you’re currently fine, but should move to the edge of the map.
But man, on The Game with a Legion that’s not using Iri button and Julie’s. That’s plenty of pallets to knock you out of your power and prevent chain frenzy downs.
4 -
they tried once, but they took so long and dropped the pallet when I was on the same side of him, since they have taken away the possibility of reverse pallet

I have mained Legion for a long time. I honestly thought he was plenty strong enough, easily 3-4k-ing 85% of my games without addons. But to me, that's just the killer role being pretty easy to play. I welcome this new change. Having mained him for so long I know how to counter him really well at pallets, using FOV techs and lockers. He was pretty long overdue for a buff, however. I don't see him getting nerfed, people just need to get used to his juiced up playstyle now. He's incredibly easy to counter if you don't panic, but that buff to frenzy is really, really nice. People just aren't used to it yet. Staying injured all game can be annoying, much like with Plague, but it really puts a hinderance on his power. If you have a solo team that keeps trying to heal all game like they cleanse all game against plague, nothing will get done and you're gonna get smoked so I can see it being an annoyance for a good solo survivor to go against, but solo is just annoying in general. I wouldn't worry. Many people may not even be aware of the change and are just finding out the 5th hit can down. I'll still main him no matter what happens because I'm already used to pre-buff, but for now I'm having a hell of a time playing as and against him.
6 -
I can not blame them I'm sry 💀 I'm the type to throw myself at the Legion to get myself out of there as quickly as possible. Sometimes I let my mending bar get all the way to the last sliver so I can drop dead in front of them.
3 -
Something survivors don't like? GIGANERFED
17 -
Julie's mixtape should get Nerfed add on shouldn't exist if you ask me
1 -
Subjective.
6 -
The sleeping pills addon, while having a big downside. it can usually guarantee a 5hit dowm
And I don't think Julies mix tape should be a thing,
One of the only things you can do to escape frenzy is a pallet stun, and thats not easy to even do.
so to stun a legion out of frenzy for them to just pull it back up feels unfair. not op but unfair.
1 -
The only problem is sleeping pills
0 -
It's not exactly an unpopular opinion.
11 -
Yeah because popular always means right.
16 -
Well, I hope devs learned their lesson that they should ignore matches where survivors disconnect.
4 -
This argument is such a bad faith argument. By their very definition exhaustion and boon perks are "really awful to play against" and yet survivors are clamoring for better and better exhaustion/boon perks.
15 -
No, but it usually means that there is something to the argument.
6 -
Yeah, because they want something to shake up their meta.
Survivors have run the same perks for basically FOUR years.
The issue is not that Boons and Exhaustion perks are bad. People don't complain about Lithe, Sprint Burst or Shadow Step. It's that the meta perks are so overpowered that anything that can come close to challenging said meta is bonkers busted.
Likewise, it's not that Legion is anywhere near OP. He's just not. He is, however, decidedly unfun to play against for most people. There's not really a good way to make Mending an engaging part of gameplay and you'll be doing a lot of it with new Legion.
6 -
That "something" isn't necessarily more valid just because of number of people supporting it.
That is my point.
2 -
Legion will be 100% nerfed because you had a good start in one single match. Alrighty then.
2 -
With the amount of suicides and D/C's Legion gets, I won't be surprised if they get nerfed
0 -
Julie's Mixtape is unhealthy and should do something else. That's the only problem with legion atm.
0 -
That's totally right just look at the real world there are many bad things many people support wich gladly didn't make them right
1 -
What deep wound or at least Feral Frenzy does on hit probably should be changed. Not nerfed but changed to something that's a little more interactive beyond 'mend' and can be played around/with when both using it and playing against it.
I want to play Legion more but don't because I realise that mending constantly is just tedious to play against and I want to make things fun for all players.
0 -
So we should ignore complaints because a lot of people have them?
5 -
Of course they'll get nerfed. The devs aren't trying to balance the game around killers being a threat.
Also Julie's is overhated and really isn't problematic to warrant a nerf. You shouldn't be stunning legion when they haven't got any frenzy hits since it's a waste of resources and generally it's still pretty hard to get 3+ chains if survivors spread out well and don't instantly mend. Once Legion has already gotten a few hits then you should stun him out of his power because then the chain resets. Even better if you can stun him after being hit since he can't frenzy you again.
1 -
He doesn’t need a nerf but he is so boring. I just got legion in 2 straight games. He isnt fun to go against and never was
0 -
That's why killers have been constantly getting buffed nonstop over the course of 6 years since release. And that's why the average kill rate has gone up to pretty much 3,5-3,7 , basically meaning most games result in 3-4k. Because they don't want to balance the game around killers being a threat.
... Right.
Legion was powerful before the buff. I easily got 3-4k every game, unless it was this very anecdotical and rare SWF team in a strong map. You get those 1 out of 10 games, if even. People playing killer just honestly want to watch a cinematic at this point, not play a game.
3 -
I don't take anyone's complaints about finding mending boring or whatever seriously. The amount of survivors that straight up chase me off the hook to take a BT hit tell me that they don't mind mending at all. If anything it should take longer to mend lol
4 -
No we've have enough nerfs to killers. Aren't y'all tired of Blight, nurse & spirit yet?
6 -
"Legion was powerful before the buff."
This is a joke, right? He was one of (if not the) weakest Killers in the entire game.
16 -
Except he wasn't. People just didn't know how to play him. Most of them just constantly went around the map applying Deep Wound to everyone, and expected to just magically stale the game enough to get kills. Knowing when to do deep wound runs and snap out of it (not wait for it to run out/get stunned like 90% of players do) was/is key. So no, he wasn't the weakest killer in the game. He was a solid B tier.
1 -
Welp, I don't wanna say I played against better players than you so I'm just gonna let people see that you said old Legion was B tier.
4 -
Sure, let me put it in bold and make it more visible so people can see I said old Legion was B tier better.
0 -
Can we please stop talking about Legion getting nerfed?
We shouldn't be talking about something like this since there is a good chance it won't happen. I really hope they don't touch them but I don't think we should be blaming anyone for a nerf that hasn't happened yet or might not happen.
0 -
So what’s annoying about them exactly? You shouldn’t be healing and you do maybe 5 mends a match? I don’t see the problem.
7 -
They won't get nerfed, imho. They might tweak a couple add-ons, maybe. But that's as far as I see them going. I mean, you can technically count that as a nerf, the point being it won't likely be a substantial one if any at all.
0 -
I really don´t get this. A killers power, that requires the killer to constantly switch targets, break chases and find someone else (aka not tunneling or camping), is considered boring?
9 -
Legion's power doesn't need any mechanical skills to use efficiently it's just a braindead easy power which makes it annoying to verse especially on small maps.
Legion is far from OP only whiny idiots will say that they're just unfun and annoying to verse that's all.
so yeah I would consider them to be boring.
2 -
Yeah, he is awful to play against in Solo Q, where people are self caring every single time and refuse to spread out to the gens. That´s why I call him a noobstomper and many killer players love him. Id play him either, but against smart people he is still not good.
2 -
i would say the sleep pills need a tweak just because they make it pretty easy to chain your 5 hits. Also i think its kinda dumb that you can 2 hit the 4th person to insta down them instead of going for a different survivor but thats just me.
Other than that they're pretty much the same, they've always been easy to pick up and play and they're another killer with a built in slowdown that you can just stack slowdowns on and bore everyone to death and that hasnt changed since their 2018 release sooo..
1 -
Where did you get those kill rates from?
4 -
The same could be argued about survivors completing gens. Also i don´t think, that "Legions power is braindead easy" is a valid complaint about making it annoying or boring. Pinheads power is everything but easy and survivors also complain about it.
I think, some people just don´t like to adapt their playstyle when facing different killers/powers. So they make the claim its boring. Which is pretty ironic, since survivors that face a killer who is new to playing that killer. Will often make fun of that.
1 -
doing gens make the game progress not last longer which is what DBD matches should be not last like Dota 2 games,Legion's power is all about game slowdown and making survivors waste time by mending which is a badly designed mechanic.
And yes Legion power is easy to use there are no complex things about him you just go into frenzy and stab people he's braindead to use that's a fact not an opinion.
most casual players play Legion beceause hes so easy to play and doesn't need a lot of mechanics involved.
Pinhead is a hard killer to play and fun to verse and you actually need to use your brain to play him well unlike Legion
People complain about the box mechanic in SoloQ which is understandable tbh.
Legion has always been the most boring killer to play or to against since he was released,I bought him just for his perks then stopped playing him beceause his gameplay is so sleeper and not interactive for both sides.

There's nothing wrong with Julie's Mix Tape.
If a Legion gets stunned by a Pallet in Frenzy with Julie's, he still loses his chain combo.
If a Legion reactivates his power and vaults this pallet (.9 seconds) and then hits you, you can't be downed.
If a Legion reactivates his power and vaults the pallet (.9 seconds) and then cancels his power (3.0 seconds) that means he's been inactive for longer than if he'd just kicked the pallet (2.6 seconds).
The only benefit Julie's gives is that you get your meter refilled and can take your pallet break cooldown on the go (the manual cancelling of Frenzy) and when they activate it, it's going to be 1.3 seconds longer than just kicking the pallet when you include the .9 seconds it takes for them to vault it.
And if a Legion vaults the pallet and just Frenzy's you whether you're healthy or not, and runs off, then he's got to backtrack and find everyone else all over again to down someone. And if by the time this happens the rest of the players have not spread out, then that's on you guys.
2 -
Having all survivors injured can cut down chase time considerably and make for a shorter match.
Many survivors have already adapted and don´t predrop pallets against Legion. They try to pallet stun, to end the frenzy early. Which is a strong and easy counter.
Is it a bad thing, that casuals play Legion?
People complain about the box, because they dislike leaving the gen and dropping their item. In other words, they dislike him, because they don´t want to change their playstyle.
Are you absolutely sure, that facing Legion is the most boring thing? Not watching a Bubba in front of the hook? Legion is a survivors wet dream, when it comes to chases, bloodpoints and the emblem system. They get bathed in points, will most likely pip, even when they lose. Because they escaped so many chases and they can actively prevent his power by splitting up.
2 -
Although a stun does reset the frenzy hit chain, the addon still punishes you for taking advantage of your resources. You successfully stun the legion out of frenzy, and then you get hit anyways a few seconds later because he can immediately activate it again. That is terrible design regardless of whether it resets his chain or not and if there is no existing chain it mostly mitigates any kind of risk for the killer involved with pallets beyond losing a few seconds.
And as far as your last point goes, if survivors are not splitting up against legion in general then they’re making a mistake regardless. That doesn’t justify this addon doing what it does.
1 -
Its not terrible design, its a good add on because Legions power is mostly non-lethal. "Punishing you for using your resources" You are rewarded with a stunned killer, the cancelling of his chain frenzy, and if he just reactivates, vaults and then cancels he's inactive longer than if he'd just broken the pallet and started after you again.
You're rewarded more this way than not. The trade off is he gets his meter refilled.

Depends on the map, if it is saloon, yes, there is nothing the survivors can do, the most simple counterplay is getting hit on the edge of the map, but nobody do that
0 -
Not as awful as twins on "high mmr"
1 -
Now this is the add on that could probably use a little tweaking. A 20 second Frenzy is a bit much. The increased Frenzy duration could just be decreased with every hit as your speed increases.
