Which killer would you like me to play survivors?
Yes, it's a serious question. I want you to tell me who to be :D. I just want survivors to have fun. Though not the sort of fun where they bully constantly and I end up just doing nothing the rest of the game but that's not really on killer choice... mostly anyway.
I've played Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, Legion, reverse bear trapless Pig (because people seem to REALLY hate that) and Hillbilly. Hillbilly seems to be a popular answer but unfortunately my style and his don't seem to mesh that well, at least not with the perks I have but changing that requires more bloodpoint investment.
I don't care about 'winning', I don't care if I get gen rushed, I don't care if they are difficult to play (would try Twins but I'm pretty sure they are generally disliked) my sole goal is having fun. Yes some people say it's not my job to make sure the other side has fun. On a personal level for me, it is. Empathy is a female dog sometimes :D.
So who should I be? Or at the very least who 'shouldn't' I be?

For me (Im a Freddy Main) is playing vs a Huntress most fun.

Literally whoever. Every killer is hated by some survivor or another. I don't like facing trapper for instance. I like playing in a way that I would enjoy facing on the other side but you really just gotta go with what you enjoy for killer choice.

Play bubba ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I actually enjoy playing against him as long as he respect the sanitary distances once he hooks someone.
I find too billy super fun to play against, but can be frustrating to play (you're more playing against the mechanics and collisions than against the survivors), I'm at best decent with him and usually survivors were happy in post game chat. I understand you don't like playing him.
I'd recommend you Oni, I think most survivors enjoy playing against him.

I like going against freddy. I just remain asleep to hear his lullaby xD
Eerie.

Nurse, obviously.
Trapper can be hilarious too, sometimes.

I gotta be better then my enemies and can't tar all of them with the same brush Charlotte ;). Otherwise you become the very people who sought you out. Which y'know, is exactly why you are a killer and not a survivor.
Maybe yes. Oni does seem to be well liked too and I haven't tried him yet. Plus I like blood echo. Not a fan of the lore, I kinda like my killers tragic or mislead which makes showing mercy have more sense but alas can't have everything. I'm a picky thing.

Honestly I love going against Nurses, Demos, Billys, Deathslingers and Twins, but tbh if you're not playing to win and therefore aren't sweating every killer should be fine; unless the survivors hate this particular killer for some reason (usually Spirit & Freddy), I personally hate Wraiths no matter how they play lmao but i don't get mad at ppl solely bc they play him.
Everyone has a killer they hate for random reasons so you might as well play whoever you want!

Yeah sometimes I'd like to offer survivors a choice of three :D. Pick your (or my) mode of suffering.

Someone i absolutely love playing against, but dont see nearly enough of, is scratched mirror Myers. He is the only killer that can consistantly scare the crap outta me. Can make for a rough time as killer, tho. But ive seen many a SM Myers 4k cuz ppl underestimate his lethality

I don't think anyone hates demo.
If you missed out on them it's a bit harder but I feel like Myers is generally well liked if you're not doing Tombstone or infinite t3.

Doesn't matter what you pick, survivors will never be pleased. If killers played how survivors want them to, you'd have to stand in the corner of the map and wait for the game to be over.
Just pick something you find fun to play, or just be a complete menace and play killers that will make survivors unleash their salt.
Don't listen to survivor rulebook for killers :D

I did miss out on demo. Kinda wanted them too. I'm still fairly new. I don't generally use addons because I don't want to get used to them and then be unable to use them. I know you get a lot of them but yeah, I just don't like them. Don't mind if they are used against me or whatever.
Scratched mirror does sound like a lot of fun but it is an addon on and a very rare one at that.
Ironically I played against this on survivor 6 times today. Don't think my team mates liked it too much :D. I can only wonder if this is the next level of the toxic arms race this game can be if you let it. I appreciate the thought but this sort of thing just isn't in my nature.

That's too bad about demo they're probably perfect for you, they don't rely on add ons, nobody hates them, and they do everything (mobility power and a chase power).
You could find a code for the chapter I think on some sites that sell keys but being that they're 3rd party I don't think that I could link them on here but getting demo still isn't impossible

Play Ghostface and ask them what's their favourite scary movie in end game chat.
Maybe ask them 3 questions just for fun if they're into it and you yourself know something about horror movies.

You'll have to explain the reference to me. The slow in my name ain't for nothing. I actually want to watch more horror movies but don't know where to start and such.

If you want to make survivors happy, Hillbilly is the only one universally loved, cuh. Get to learning those curves and I will send you a copy of the rulebook so you do not mess up.

For me it's really less about who but a lot more about how. Like, sure, every match is competitive in the sense that it is playing "against" someone and not "with" someone. - But whenever it's about flexing at the expense of the other side or straight up taunting them, then it's just... nah.
I usually find it super fun if a match passes the point of "PRESSURE" and both killer and survivor just get lost in a bit of a game of tag and/or hide and seek.
There's no harm in meme-ing a little or dialing it back a notch when you realise the other side has zero chance against you / isn't planning on sweating. I'm always surprised to see how easy it is to establish if people are up for meme-ing or not and to either agree to just mess around in a match - or not. "Reading the room" is an actual thing, I believe xD --- Doesn't guarantee that everyone's on the same page. But in that case I guess you can always opt out and ensure the match is over as quick as possible (e.g. by just not interrupting gen progress).
All that being said, I do like M2-only-Huntresses, Scratch Myers for jumpscares, any non-sweaty Ghostie, Demo is just always kinda great, Pig is actually kinda fun - especially if a boop the snoot is involved - (though, with the traps it can get super frustrating depending on the map; sometimes it's practically impossible to get to the fourth box).

Watch Scream. Really nice movie series. You won't regret it.
Anyways, Scream usually starts with Ghostface calling a person, starting a conversation with them and eventually they'll ask "What's your favourite scary movie?"
Followed by a trivia quiz of 3 questions. If the person hangs up, a loved one dies, if they fail a question, a loved one dies.
Usually they fail because of a slight mean mistake.
You'll have to watch it to understand it more, but I can really recommend it.
