Nurse players have fun challenge (impossible)
(mald thread)
A few days ago I versed five nurses in a row.
3/5 had range.
My first survivor game on since then I get a nurse with range who kills everyone at 5 gens. I was playing in a 3 man with someone who has only 40 hours.
Looking forward to the day that range add ons get fired into the sun and double recharge becomes base kit.

If I hear a blink I just DC. I stopped caring.

Blight has been confirmed for a fix (nerf). Expect more nurses in the time to come. This is the game you signed up for.

Hug tech is confirmed as bug and it is gonna fix. Not nerf, "FIX".
Blight is still strong killer with good base-kit & insane add-ons.
Good Blights never needed hug tech anyway.

I don't go that far, as a no range recharge nurse can be fun to face sometimes.

It's almost like outside of those 3 addons there's nothing really worth using over those 3.
1 -
It's almost like nurse doesn't really need addons at all
10 -
Actually he would agree on how range addons are badly designed because they remove an important part of nurse's counterplay
2 -
Wow do you think he'll be more of an F or maybe G tier after that?
0 -
Range addons are bugged. So, everybody is spamming them currently. They were still her top tier addons before that. Fun stuff.
2 -
Removing an Exploit (Hug Tech) will not bump Blight down at all. He does not need it to be a strong Killer.
And Nurse does not need any Add Ons to be a strong Killer. (She is my go-to when I just want to farm BPs, because I have 0 investment when playing her)
3 -
Fatigue Addons would like to know your location
0 -
If they actually improved her recharge or something I'd be okay with it. Everyone saying that she doesn't need add-ons hasn't tried to sprint after a W survivor from one end of the map to the other while gasping the entire way.

Competitive play (standard restrictions)
Nurse averages out to a 2K on an even map, slides to 1-3 depending on what other map is in the current tournament rotation. All DBE (Dead by eSports) tournaments (which are the majority) can have VODs found on YouTube and/or Twitch. There are dozens upon dozens of tournaments, some with rule/map variations and others, but most of them are more or less the same guidelines/same few maps used per killer. (For instance, Nurse rotates between a few different maps so it doesn't become boring to watch. Same as other killers. Weaker killers have singular best map for them only.) Example VOD link, so you know how to look around for them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb00wvwUez4 (Oracle and Agony are among the best teams in the world, if you didn't know)
Competitive play (no restrictions)
Nurse averages out to a 1.92K. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/297338/statistical-evaluation-of-an-interesting-tournament/ is a link to Wwispy1's tournament where Nurse appeared in 14 games (lost 6, tied 5, won 3). There's others out there as well, but Wwispy1's is the most 'big'/notable one.
non-competitive high level even matches
In a non-competitive setting, YouTube uploads are usually only wins/win-streaks. If you want to see full gameplay VODs against everyone rather than highlights, checking Twitch VODs is better for this. Additionally, as BHVR has also stated in the Q&A stream here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz7f_WPutq8&t=2143s , extremely good players are soft-capped because otherwise queues will take literal hours. This results in said very good players being matched with worse players. Obviously, this will be pretty one-sided. This is the reason extremely good players (such as some of the better-known content creators) will win the absolute majority of games regardless of killer/survivor. The opponent(s) they are matched with are usually not on the same level. With that in mind, non-competitive even matches are generally pretty rare for players of that level. Here are several examples of very good players versus other very good players. Scrims are not included, as they are done under tournament rules. Non-scrim KYF is, as that is a thing content creators do anyways (playing KYF with each other). The 1v1 examples are to show that good players understand how to mindgame against a Nurse in chase. It's pretty simple to tell when a Nurse or survivor against a Nurse is good based off how they react and mindgame each other, since competitive level players still give a frame of reference for how people chase as and against Nurse. Competitive is pretty meaningless for anything else, but chases are more or less the same and can be learned from.

If you would still like to dispute this, please give conclusive counter-evidence that Nurse consistently overperforms against players of equal skill on an even map. If she is so overpowered, there should be an abundant amount of proof.

If someone is amazing at the best killer in the game they should be able to kill the entire team at 5 gens if they are playing against someone with 40 hours on the survivor side
Do not blame Nurse for the horrible matchmaking system
3 -
Killers like to pretend bug abuse is actually part of the skill ceiling.
2 -
Nurse is a killer who could have all add ons removed from the game and she'd be fine
0 -
They are? why aren't they skillswitched then
0 -
Severe bugs are different from gamebreaking bugs, which is generally what the killswitch is meant for. That said, I'd also support them being killswitched. For instance, gamebreaking is things like getting permanently stuck, not being reachable, uncleansable totems, etc.
1 -
They only killswitch bugs that help survivors, such as the school map.
0 -
agreed something like an add on getting a bug like nurse range should get disabled
1 -
Yes that's why they killswitched maps that had uncleansable Hexes. But please, continue trying to force us vs them.
2 -
Midwich has uncleansable hex but it did not killswitched.
I am not making they vs us but BHVR is just... BHVR.

You're in a thread about someone complaining they versed the same killer 3 times in a row while defending an objective negative change (nerf) to the one killer that competed with her. Do you not see the irony?
