Remove bloodlust
I don't think they are any infinites in the game rn comparing to 2016/2017 and if a killer bloodlust you at certain pallets you will eventually die its basically a free perk. as you stated that it was a feature use to stop infinite on certain maps plus you guys aren't even focusing on loops anymore you guys doing graphical updates.
What you guys think?

When maps are fair and balanced, remove bloodlust 2 and 3. Until then, no.
47 -
When has this game ever been "fair?" I just literally finished a game where a surv healed TWICE DURING the same chase....anyone want to honestly say thats normal, let alone "fair?"
13 -
Sure but tell me which maps are really survivor sided besides the game
2 -
bloodlust level 3 for sure needs to be gone.
bloodlust 1 and 2 are still a must need with how bs can tiles spawn sometimes.
6 -
Its not really the map its more the killer you are playing
0 -
If it took a killer took 45 seconds tto get to bl t3 that's good for your team? which thats the aim of survivor? You bought 45 seconds of time on a SINGLE pallet for your teammates to do gens so no I don't think it should be removed.
18 -
Yea you have a point but i think atleast t3 needs to be gone. that is literally no matter how good you are he is gonna catch you so i don't think that should be in the game
1 -
No skill involved
1 -
It's bloodlust for a reason. Your not downing or hitting the survivor. It's fine.
4 -
All of those maps that you just said have different variations. you don't need bloodlust for pallets bloodlust was made for infinites not a basic loop that the (devs made)
0 -
Maps are still way, way too unbalanced to remove Bloodlust. After (if) they get fixed, then sure.
7 -
....
1 -
So what reason would you bloodlust someone
0 -
Ok so they could take out t3 then
0 -
If the killer is actually get t3 he already wasted so much time that he's lost the game anyway. Hence why remove it now.
How often do you realistically get a killer to t3 anyway, honestly? I can't even remember the last time that happened. A good survivor knows when to throw a pallet to reset the bloodlust.

🙄🙄🙄

No issues with Bloodlust on either side
As a survivor, if I get a killer to that high of a bloodlust, I've been looping them silly and killing a lot of time by that point. I'm kickin their arse and they could probably use the help
As a killer, it's rare that I even get to Level 1 Bloodlust, let alone 2 or 3. If I'm getting to BL2 or BL3, my stupid caveman brain has already become so tilted in this chase because I should have dropped ti long ago.
Bloodlust feels like one of the few "balance to low level play" things BHVR has that is an actual benefit to killers.

It actually happens to me alot but i don't want to get downed by just bloodlust because you can't mindgame me or break the pallet
0 -
Then the killer literally threw that entire game to get 1 down on you. Ya'll won the game at that point.
6 -
If a killer has to bloodlust 2 or 3 you in order to get a hit, you've already functionally won that chase by buying 30-45s+ for your teammates (and that's not counting your other health state or Dead Hard.) You're not meant to evade the killer in chase forever; that's not how the game is designed and the 1v1 is meant to favor the killer. You are supposed to eventually die. Until maps are balanced, bloodlust is the best we're going to get - and the more the killer roster grows, the less capable BHVR is of doing that.
If bloodlust is an issue for you, drop pallets.
10 -
Survivors aren't meant to run the killer forever
15 -
True
1 -
I mean... you're supposed to eventually lose the chase as survivor if the killer commits. If you were able to win chases constantly in the games current condition even more people would leave.
8 -
'You will die eventually' is literally the mission statement of this game.'
Bloodlust is not more important than maps and pallet density right now.
3 -
If you can't catch someone because you are bad so you just gonna run a round a loop for couple seconds does that sound fair to you.
Chases are the most fun thing in Dbd
0 -
That's progressing the game, making the killer get something, and like the other guy said, you just bought 45 seconds, run him again and boom, all gens done and game over
3 -
See that's the thing, not every map is balanced, so its a needed mechanic, if the devs actually fix map balance then maybe they can remove it
3 -
I have been playing this game for too long and they increase the distance for the pallet to spawn, Change map Layouts, change Loops and they are doing different variations so the game must be balance for them to map new maps .

I don't understand so I can't respond.
👍
3 -
Its not easily in solo q because you don't know what type of teammate you will get
0 -
If your team doesn't finish gens by the time bloodlust tier 3 is achieved like 3 times, then that's a team problem, not a bloodlust problem
7 -
Then don't play solo
2 -
The fact there's people that think that the killer shouldn't always end up catching the survivors shows why there's so much whining about killer being OP still despite overwhelming proof of the opposite.
It should take time but even the worst chaser should be able to eventually get a down when in a match with similar skill level survivors.
6 -
a) you are supposed to eventually get downed.
b) if a killer reaches T2 or T3 something usually went wrong: Either they made a terrible judgement to (over)commit or the lobby they got is way out of their league and they shouldn't be in it to begin with.
c) if you get downed after that much time and you teammates are not on a completely different level from you, you should be out with one hook stage.
d) if you getting downed eventually results in the tables getting turned and the match going sideways for the survivors, then bloodlust wasn't the problem.
3 -
I don't mind getting downed
0 -
That is perfect if they focus on fix the maps from early 2017, literally the game would be at a good state but because they keep releasing new maps with bad layout its literally impossible to fix rn so much maps. but i do agree with you
1 -
The flow of the game would probably be better if you replaced Enduring and Spirit Fury with different perks and just made it so hitting a killer with a pallet for a stun, always broke the pallet.
1 -
lo I get a lot legion running this

+Game like you said
All super survivor sided maps, although some like Purgation or Chapel are only busted with experienced survivors not newbies.
4 -
This is a very flawed argument. You're saying that, if a survivor is "skilled" enough and does not make mistakes, it should be impossible for the killer to catch them. Literally the same situation infinite brought in the past.
The survivors are not meant to be able to run the killer without limit, the killer is supposed to be able to win every chase if given enough time.
Killer success already depends heavily on survivor's mistakes, I don't think it should be changed to "depends entirely" on survivors. That would mean the actions of the killer have no inference on the results of the match.
4 -
There are contextual infinites that occur when Bloodlust isn't on.
4 -
Those aren't infinites. You remember 2016/2017 infinites where you run a loop the whole game without dropping a pallet. Most pallet is mind game able beside the god pallets
0 -
Bloodlust is in the game for all the reasons you think it needs to be gone.
4 -
So why does the killer have abilities that can help them in chase
0 -
At least Tweak it then
0 -
Cant catch them mainly. Even with powers and the such. You can get ran for a bit of time.
