The Epic Games sale really brought an insane amount of cheaters.
Faced a cheater for probably the hundrenth time now in the past few months. Guess what platform they are on? EPIC GAMES STORE. Gee. This is so sad. Poor killer got all 5 gens done in 30 seconds.

Well that's what you get when you combine free2play, PC, a non existent anti cheat and a game so lousy programmed that in the early days people were able to change Clientside word or txt file and impact the game that way.
The only coding fuckups that bad that i can remember in recent history was Facebook storing client safety data unencrypted in string.

When a cheater gets banned means usually they need to spend money to play again. With EGS they created thousands of free new accs to cheat on. I know this because multiple cheaters I saw just went "haha thanks bhvr for the free accs"

An ip address or hardware ban would help a lot tbh.

Probably people making free accounts for free for the sole purpose of hacking. You have nothing to lose if you don't pay for the game.

They just create a mass of dummy accounts. If they get banned they have backups over backups.
If they would've to pay for the game then they are way less willing to do this.

Honestly it's not hard to get DBD again - Doesn't help that there's an abundance of third party sites selling DBD keys for like 5 dollars each.

Hackers create multiple epic game store account when DBD is free on epic game store. If one is banned, they will just use another

The first game I played in a long time was against a cheater. They tried being subtle with it but I definitely saw them moving faster then they should have. For all I know they could have been doing gens faster as well. And there is no way for me to get them banned cause I can't record it cause there is no replay system nor can the devs see the gameplay of the game reported which is weird to me considering it's 2022 and this game is still getting continuous updates.

If I'm cheating I could create 10 free accounts and get 10 free DBD Accounts. I get banned on 1 Account? No worries I got like 10 more.
Now this was free for 1 week, I could have created a bot that automatically creates an Epic Games account and Claim DBD, Run this for 1 Week and I could have got 500+ amount of Accounts that I could hack and cheat in.
You seeing the problem here?
