FOV Slider for Killers - it's about accessibility, not balance
I don't want this to come across as whiny so I'll try to keep it short, but I really think DBD just needs an FOV slider and Shadowborn needs a rework. We don't need some weird 360-degree fisheye effect like those DOOM mods, we just need to be able to play certain killers without getting motion sickness.
Shadowborn does alleviate these issues, but I don't think I need to explain why having to waste a perk slot in order to not feel sick isn't a good fix. This is especially true when you consider that Bloodweb RNG might make it bloody difficult to actually get Shadowborn in the first place.
It's 2022; I think it's time for DBD to join every other game on the market and give killers an FOV slider. ######### it, give survivors an FOV slider as well (but make the walls on Autohaven taller and fix Ghostface's reveal so it doesn't cause the same issues stretched res did). People complained that colourblind settings would supposedly give people an advantage, and yet here we are. FOV is no different.
It's not a balance issue like it was in 2016, when DBD was a hide and seek game. It's an accessibility issue.

I’m not sure about survivors getting an FOV slider, but for killers, yes! The low FOV is eye grating and makes me sick after about 10 mins, and I don’t think Shadowborn is a viable solution.

That's fair. I brought up an FOV slider for survivors because some people (supposedly) used stretched res because the camera felt too close to their survivor, and the issues it caused are theoretically fixable. The main thing for me is the killer FOV slider, since they're the ones with a first person camera.
