why did they removed skybilly???
its been a feature for years and people are having fun playing it. Is there really anyone hate this?? And im not gonna lie , it doesnt bring any advantages in game competition. This patch is just meaningless and really annoying. save the billy with us plz!

This is about what kind of priorities BHVR has, they rather fix a bug that is used for fun (space billy) and is fun to see from both sides, rather than a bug that is used to get advanatage ( hug bug ) and only blight mains defend this one and “ love to “ verse it.

because imagine the excitement of finally finding a hillbilly in pubs only to get it to be a guy slamming himself against the wall for the rest of the trial to be launched to sky without actually playing the game and not allowing the rest to complete their dailies or challenges

BHVR sticks with its signature motto when it comes to interesting glitches that players actually enjoy. Like the cosmetic bug for example.

Here's the truth, the developers take their job very seriously.
They do everything they can to focus on the game design - and are only held back from their lack of resources.
In truth, it is their small team and laser focus alone that allows them to snuff out problems like this.
With the developers having a serious tone for their game and absolute focus on product quality, you're in good hands.

Isnt by that logic of everything that is not fully intended an explot make billy curves technically an exploit of billys high initial sensibility? I mean it sounds dumb af but technically if you consider hug tech an exploit, then sky billy and curves are exploits too arent they?

curves and skybilly are not exploits, hug tech is confirmed to be one. ( even though i thought skybilly was a bug ) @MandyTalk could you please confirm this?

They aren't really exploits. They are bugs that should be actual features IMO. Curves and sky billy is like the only thing that makes him worth playing.

Thats my point, im trying to prove how clasing them as exploits and taking them away because of that takes away fun aspects of the game.

Mandy said hug tech was classified as a bug, not an exploit. An exploit would be the old lag-flicking for both blight and billy. I don't understand the reasoning for supporting curving as a feature but not hug tech, as they both take skill and can be countered. Though curving is definitely harder.

Pretty sure Billy teleported back into the trials if that was the case. Also, not sure they removed Skybilly. They added the clause "inaccessible". Not all skybilly things are meant to be inaccessible(as Nurse can TP to them, for example).
It might be overdone at first to make sure the inaccessible spots get properly fixed before adding back the momentum.
Or maybe, just maybe, they are working on Billy and thus SkyBilly might be too strong for the new additions.

Because they're a company who wants a functioning game.
"Haha space billy funny" doesn't mean that a match where survivors just M1 gens or do nothing because the killer is goofing off trying to climb a roof is something they want.

But you are using hug tech(bug) to gain an advantage. Which makes it an exploit. Curving and sky billy are not an exploit. Hillbilly has literally maximum turn rate when starting the chainsaw sprint, that’s not a bug.
