What Behaviour Didn’t Say.
So sure, all the stuff that was covered for the 6th Anniversary sounds fine but… as a survivor main it sure appears to me that nothing was done to address the major issue with the game: Namely that it is balanced for Killer vs 4 man SWF thus making Solo play terrible.
These are just facts:
Im an 8k+ hour survivor and (should be) High MMR. When I play with a 4 man SWF we do fine. Mostly 4E sometimes 4k… it’s mostly balanced but, if there’s imbalance it’s usually in our favor.
As a solo its a completely different story. 80% of the time there’s a DC or quit. Mostly I am NOT with teammates of my level. And of course this is worse on off peak hours when matchmaking has even lower likelihood of creating a balanced game. So common scenario - 4 man quickly turns to 3 man, vs Blight or Nurse using BBQ, Pop, Pain Resonance, Corrupt… and proxy camping and/or tunnelling. This is simply not winnable. This is a majority of solo games. Sometimes the killer is a lower MMR which helps but mostly the imbalance is among the survivors.
Does Behaviour understand how aggravating it is to CONSTANTLY play unwinnable games because of bad matchmaking at higher MMR? And then of course, I don’t win so my MMR drops, generally exacerbating the issue, though also possibly increasing the chance I get lower MMR killers. But my experience for many months now is that most games are versus decent killers running very strong builds and then a DC or quit and a weak team.
Maybe think about fixing this stuff before you get all excited about preset loudouts.
A couple things to think about - Enable a slider to choose matchmaking more by accuracy or by speed. Personally I’d rather wait for a fair game then get quick terrible games.
Increase bloodpoints max to 32k regardless of the bucket they fall in (stop screwing over players that run the killer all game) and make it easier to pip all the way to red 1. Why its still harder to pip into gold and red when all this grading system is now is a time in game indicator is a mystery. And stop penalizing people for quitting. My main problem is that many games are unwinnable or just cruel… e.g. 1-3 of your teammates quit (penalty system doesn’t deter them) and you are forced to play a losing game or get penalized. Or the killer just feels like being a jerk and letting you bleed out… you have to suck it up or get penalized. Allow us the freedom to get out of unfair situations for god’s sake.
Anyhow… that’s enough for now. I don’t write in these forums often because of toxicity so don’t expect a response from me if you respond. Thanks…

As somebody who does play solo, it should be balanced as killer vs swf. If I don't want to SWF, that's on me. I'm completely in favour of the HUD icons and also Kindred as base kit but, ultimately, it's 2022 with so many choices in voice chat that, if someone such as myself chooses to be an introverted Luddite, that's their choice (or mine in my case).

I think things are focused around solos as all the tools are provided to do well. Stealth is viable, loops without mind games are abundant, and shift w + pallet drops is possible for longer than it takes all 5 gens.
Swf is capable of pressuring any killer even with quick downs. I've seen nurses with little to no mistakes still struggle for the 1k. I find that what makes swf so strong is they can utilize all the safety nets designed for new solo survivors efficiently enough that they can seem almost abusable in the right situations.

MMR works well at high levels for Survivor. I usually get teammates that prioritize generators and are competent loopers. The price to pay is blights and nurses all the time. It’s sweaty but the games always feel winnable.
Maybe mid/low tier MMR is a mixed bag and I think thats what this post is about

I always have fun playing survivor, solo or with friends. If the queue times weren't 5 minutes a pop I'd never play killer.

Is it cause killer is stressful and feels like an uphill battle? I might be projecting a bit there, and certainly no judgement, but I am now honestly curious why you don't?

It's always stressful and I get tired of dealing with the rude behavior of survivors. Yes, you dropped the pallet. Proceed to tbag. Yes, you are vaulting many times near the hatch, you won the rng contest. Ok kids, time to get out of the gate. Yes, your flashlight macro is very very impressive.
It gets tiring after a while. I don't do anything that warrants that sort of behavior. Also in every game when three gens pop after like my second hook it's like yes.....I could probably win this if I play scummy. Do I? Even having to make that decision wears on a man.
Solo queue? Don't care. Killer hits me in hook? Dope, that just means I had a good chase. Nobody comes to rescue me? That's alright, onto the next game. I literally don't understand how anyone gets upset when they play survivor. It is so so easy and so stress free. Hold m1. Goof around.

It is, I agree very stress free. I think the bad behavior comes from entitlement and power going to the head. Thanks for letting me know, and I'm very sorry your experiences match my own while playing killer, its not pleasant.

They didn't mention it on anniversary, but they did toss an idea sometime ago about action icons (when someone is healing and etc.). Dunno what happenned with that.
Or I could be totally misrememebering reality. That's also a possibility.
