Auto Mori aka The Finisher Mori
So can someone tell me if I am understanding this correctly, The concept is, if you down the last alive survivor on a map the game will automatically start playing the mori animation?
So assuming that is correct, If I throw a hatchet across the map as huntress and down someone, do you guys like AI walk my killer to them and start the mori, teleport me, or my personal favorite, just start playing the animation right away and neither of us sees each other?

This is quite a funny situation to think about. I imagine if they implement the auto mori system (which I doubt by the backlash for it to be an option), they might limit it to an M1 basic attack. Imagine if a survivor bleeds out due to deep wound status, what then? In my head canon, I'd like to imagine the mori starts to instant play out where you stand so you are hitting the air 20 meters away from the survivor flailing on the ground.

Not just Huntress, but any killer with any sort of range attack.

What other killer has a ranged-down mechanic?

Also if you have one survivor downed, and another is on a hook and dies for instance, does the game just fade to the mori? It wasn’t quite clear what happens when the killer isn’t near the last survivor when they’re already on the ground.

As soon as the final living Survivor standing is put into the dying state, the game ends. Following a visual transition, that Survivor and the Killer are brought to a special location in the environment and the Mori Finisher begins. No longer will your mori moment be “censored” by inconveniently placed objects or invasive bushes. All attention will be placed entirely on the action taking place.
Yes the second the last survivor is down the mori starts.
If you down someone with a hatchet across the map or they go down because of deep wound I would guess you would have to find them first before the mori starts.

Artist and Trickster
Technically Twins if you down with Victor. There isn't a mori for just Victor.
Pyramid Head and Nemi can also down from a range, they're still close, but you can get downs from other sides of tiles.

If it does work on M2, I would assume teleport. I believe during the presentation it was already stated that you would be transported to a special part of the map free of debris for the final mori.

Wait, they pick the mori location? Oh I dislike that... I'd rather risk stuff being in the way then the mori playing in the same spot every single time...

I know why I didn't think of them, I LOTHE trickster and don't play him and really only played Artist less then a handful of times.
Victor would be simple, give him a mori animation, and as you said the others are already really close, so the small jump wouldn't be all that jarring.

Keep in mind, deep wound exists and could be triggered with ANY killer since it can be tied to a stiptic agent used the survivor so it can happen with any killer

Yeah I know, they just asked for the ranged killers. Assuming it's implemented and how everyone is saying it's going to work, the mori will just play out if they go down from deep wounds. It's a silly situation anyway because usually a survivor won't go down from deep wounds, but it happens from time to time surprisingly.

Maybe is for basic attack only, I guess if you down them with M2 (maybe even trapper's traps?) It will be like current Mori where you have to press the corresponding key (being this the only option?).

It could be cool maybe there's several locations on each map.
I kind of like it I didn't like walls and boxes or whatever blocking my view I always picked the survivor up and dropped them in the open.
