Depends on the killer but probably midwich and sheltered woods. Maybe dead dog saloon too

The one that immediately comes to mind is Midwich. Beyond that, I don’t really have any strong opinion on other maps when it comes to killer-sides ones.

    For me it is Saloon.

Main building strong but killer can break walls. Shack has breakable wall, which makes it worst shack on all game. Most of pallets are bad. Small map, easy to patrol gens.

Lerys, Pale rose, Dead dawg saloon, sanctum of wrath, Haddonfield, Coal tower with Bad RNG, Wretched shop with Bad RNG etc..

Also depends what killer you go against on some maps, like if you go against a Billy on Lerys it’s pretty free for survivors..

Midwich 100%. I understand people saying dead dog but the bushes are perfect hiding places. Midwich has one god pallet, same gates every time. 2 stories making you need to cover half the distance to hear gens. Its def a hard map to escape

Azarovs Resting Place and Suffocation Pit are bad if the survs are careless and do the wrong gens, they'll get genlocked

Shelter Woods can be very bad if the RNG gods screw them over

Aside from those 3, i'd say that the worst is probably RCPD due to the lack of good loops, Midwich and The Game have the same problems but they make up for it by being absolutely obnoxious with pallets

    Midwich

In my opinion? Haddonfield. I just hate it.

Azarovs or Suffo Pit. Those maps are usually killer game sense tests depending on gen RNG. Don't cross the map and win.

    • Shelter Woods (AKA Deadzone The Map).
    • Midwich: small, indoors, easy to check on gens thanks to the 2 layers, only one god pallet, no shack, hard to find Totems and a lot of decent vaults can be negated by breaking walls.
    • Lery's: a maze with hard to find gens, small and indoors.
    • Coal Tower: smallest map in the game and main building can be rendered useless by breaking 2 walls.
    • Dead Dawg Saloon: small, easy to 3 gen, extremely exposed gens (you can see anyone fixing them from a mile away) not many pallets, hard to find totems, a lot of deadzones, shack, main building and the LT can be neutered if you break the walls, its only Survivor orientation is the fact there are plenty of strong vaults with breakable walls but if you get a fast early down you can use the extra pressure to break a lot of them and render them useless.
    • Azarovs, Suffocation Pit and Sanctum of Wrath: football field maps are extremely easy to 3 gen, Suffocation is almost always a massive deadzone on the shack side.

For me those are the ones that almost always are easier for Killer, other maps can be easy too if you get solid gen spawns like "Grim Pantry" "Family Residence" "Torment Creek" etc or maps where you can get some pallet deadzones like "Wreckers Yard" but those are up to RNG.

Swamp, Shelter Woods, Wretched Shop, RPD, Midwich and Haddonfield. Especially the first three are favorites for the worst deadzones of all times.

None... if i had to say one then maybe midwitch but honest all maps are good for survivors but midwich isnt complete butts for killers like rest of the maps.

I would argue half of the maps can be awful for survivor due to ######### rng

Shelter Woods, Azarov's Resting Place, Midwich, and Dead Dawg Saloon are probably the worst for survivors.

    Depends on the RNG.

Coal Tower can spawn 5 T-L's and be horrid for Survivors or it can spawn 5 long-wall gyms with box loops scattered around the middle area.

Reworked Haddonfield is too open and difficult for survivors and small maps basically.

I'd say given the amount of hooks on any given map I think all of them.

  • KateMain86
    KateMain86 Member Posts: 2,374

This one gets a pass because its the best map ever! However I did get an RP where there were 2 hooks literally right by each other in the same hall.

Shelter Woods is the ultimate 'welp, we're dead' map. There's just... no resources whatsoever. Midwich is rough too, but I'd take loading into it while playing Survivor over Shelter Woods any day.

  • TheArbiter
    TheArbiter Member Posts: 2,628

Yeah Sheltered Woods is a GG for survivors if the killer is even halfway decent. Don't think I've lost on the map as killer in literal years

    Shelter woods, Azarov's resting place

Shelter woods is obvious but with Azarov's it's killer sided because the map shape almost guarantees a 3 gen if the killer is smart enough to force the situation, theres almost no gens in the middle they're all on one side or the other.

Lol I can't believe some people here think dead dawg is a killer map, there's so many strong loops in that map and if you've got people with head on looping the main building you can keep a killer darn near the whole game it's honestly one of my favorite maps to play as a survivor.

Shelter Woods, which is the most ironically named thing in the entire game, has absolutely nothing on it and it's landmark is literally just a tree. Even Dead Dawg at least has a decent main building (as long as the killer doesn't break walls), what am I going to do with the tree?

The only thing that's good about RPD is to troll, Get a squad and have one person bring dark theory, blood pact and then have everyone run a head on build and keep looping that office loop with the pallet and side window(on the bottom floor to the right if you're looking at the map from the front door) and theres two lockers in that hallway mid loop, RPD instantly becomes the most fun map in the game lmao you can have one person on gens or just troll with everyone the whole game and never touch one.

none.....wait maaaaaybeeeeee.....mmmmmmmmm..................well the only map i remenber being 100% worst for survivor was Old Gideon map.

Yamaoka Estate - Sanctum of Wrath is awful

Dead Dawg is the only one I feel at a disadvantage on as survivor, just because it is so small.

RPD sucks hard on both sides, but I hate it more as killer, tbh

  • ThiccBudhha
    ThiccBudhha Member Posts: 6,987

The worst is Midwich, but that map is survivor sided regardless. The only map that was genuinely killer sided was the map they refused to reskin (surprise, surprise).

I think statistically Midwich had the lowest survivability rate.

Though personally, I'm always far more irritated as a survivor when I get dumped on Shelter Woods; it's basically just tile rng that determines whether survivors even get a fighting chance on that map.

Haddonfield, The game(let the hate flow), Eyrie of Crows, Father Campbell's Chapel. gates always seem to close together in these and they are small. Some have really good loops but people choose not to use them.

    Azarov’s Resting Place 100%.

Suffocation Pit can be rough against some killers but the center tile layouts can be ridiculous sometimes.

Shelter Woods is top of the list.
