Then why not rework the Nurse?! just because the kill rates are low doesn't mean we should keep her borderline OP, BHVR needs to fix it,
Just to reiterate; The Nurse isn't fun to play as or against with so we should rework her to be a more fun and playable killer.
Don't talk to me about killrates by that metric we should Nerf Freddy to the ground just because some people are having a hard time looping the "Worst killer in the Game"

The highest skill ceiling in any roster based game will also have the lowest representation, because it requires more effort. Different strokes for fewer folks. There is nothing wrong with that at all. I should hope there are more trapper players. He's easier to pilot.
Edit: This is silly as a premise, there are plenty of nurse players hence these dumb threads asking for nerfs instead of gittin' gud.

To this day I still can't believe there are people who believe Nurse's design is in anyway healthy for the game. Like surely they have to be trolling if they think that a killer with Nurse's kit in the current DBD isn't a huge issue.

This. I've only encountered like 2 or 3 god nurses throughout all my time in this game & the ok and below average nurses are a lot more telegraphed and don't know how to use a blink and always blink to short or to far and I know you hear it a lot but breaking line of sight will make it difficult for them to predict where you're running next.

She is really hard to play for a new player, and still hard to play if the survivors know how to counter her. Because all you are talking about is how good some nurse players are, never realizing some survivors are doing really fine against her.
The problem with this kind of thread is that you don’t provide any proof you have a good winrate with nurse with no effort. If she is so strong, why are you unable to win like us ?

Stats mean nothing (like almost every killer being above 50% kill rate the past 5 times they've released stats) unless a killer can use that data to justify not nerfing something, lol.

As usual nurses basekit is fine and recharge add-ons are mostly ok too
Range add-ons are not.
The biggest problem with nurse is how good all perks work on her, which means that stacking a full slowdown build (or even just a couple of perks) will basically make the game play by itself with literally zero effort unless the player is really a first timer on her. But the devs announced an upcoming rework of 40 perks hoping to shift the meta. I can only hope that this will actually solve "the nurse problem", although I'm skeptical about it.
Nurse really doesn't need slowdown perks to win most matches, and make the rest fairly balanced if well played and fought.
So TLDR the problem is not nurse, it's some of her add-ons and how well current slowdown meta complements her power. Since the meta will potentially be shifted/nerfed/reworked, nurse will hopefully need no change

Zero effort?
Just got taken to RPD with 3 COH/Shadow step combo survivors. Could not find a survivor all game, and every hit immediately lead to LOS beyond 3 obstacles and gone.

This topic proves that survivor mains can't do anything without their lil dead hard press E to dodge hit free from a nurse or any other killer. A good survivor will always waste nurse's time, if that nurse fails 3/4 blinks on that survivor, it's already 2 gens gone considering chase time and pre-chase time (time that requires her to close the gap between survivor who already runs away from her, since that survivor is strong and knows how to play against nurse)
The one who needs a nerf imo is blight (i talk about his exploits, hug tech, nerd tech whatever they calling them). That's unintended and he shoudn't hit survivor from 4939439 corner angle or slide of from 4 walls and then hit you. And insanely he could have 7 rushes or 8? Reminding me about 7 blink nurse back then. Totally blight is busted and most of his addons (crow, alchi ring etc).
But yeah, let's nerf the single potent killer that can face very strong survivor and STILL struggle a lot. Nurse op holy.

Instead of crying about Nurse, try to play her. After a streak of wins* against clueless survivors, you should end up against good survivors who will clean the floor with you. Learn from them and try to apply their tactics next time you verse a Nurse.
Obviously, you'll still need some skills either way but who can seriously complain that the more skilled and experienced player wins?
Or you can keep crying nerf for (one of) the lowest kill-rate killer.
*) After you've learned to use her adequately of course.

And RPD is a good example? It's probably the worst map ever created, to the point that they actually confirmed a rework just a year after it's release. Fastest rework of the west

My point is hyperbole is not helpful. It's never been helpful. It has no place when you're trying to make a legit case. 'Zero effort' as Nurse is not a more or less common experience than any other killer getting lucky against a few potatoes.

Don’t bother with egg_, he is a nurse hater. He will never acknowledge nurse is hard to play, take effort and has the worst winrate of all the killers.

3 blink nurse has super long recharge and does her more harm than good.

I don't like or even play nurse, but there is nothing wrong with her design that survivors haven't already proven can be overcome.

Just do like I do.
When you see a nurse, run to the killer and suicide on hook. Even my swf has this agreement.
Not worth trying to play against it as we're all high mmr.
It's the faster way to get to a match where we can bully killers and make them DC.

When playing with swf in high mmr, what killer should do is afk
So you can go out quickly and enjoy quening for 10 mins again

No, we can't. Nurse is perfect as she is.
If survivors ever get nerfed, they'll have to learn how to play against every killers, each one as deadly as the next. Then we'll read cries about every killer.

I hate versing oppressive Nurse players but she's still one of the hardest killlers to master.
And don't think she needs another nerf.
I don't want her to be more harder to play even if she's not my most played killer.
Her basekit is incredibly nerfed.
People say her recharge and range addons are too strong but others are either niche or completely useless.
Maybe someone wil say 3 blink is powerful but good Nurse players wouldn't use that addon.

He's the hardest character to get to grips with.

Because it means they can't always escape if they play against a Nurse.
I became a nurse main and since then everything I've seen from good survivors I've turned into counterplay for when I go against a Nurse and it feels so rewarding.
Your average survivor doesn't want to do that they just want to sit at a pallet - drop pallet - mess up loop and then dead hard every game.

June : Dead Hard
July : Ruin
August : DS
September : Corrupt
Etc....
They deactivated a killer and a map, everyone continued to play without this killer.
They can do it for skills.

Other than possibly add ons, Nurse doesn't need a nerf. The fact that a few people are really, really good at Nurse doesn't mean anything just as a few SWFs being Seal Team Six doesn't mean survivors shouldn't use comms.
I don't expect to win against a player who's much better than me at the game anymore than I would expect to have a chance if I loaded in against Otz or Dowsey. Outliers can't be used as an argument against the majority since they're outliers.
If anything, I'd prefer weaker killers get buffed to remove the delta between them and Nurse and then buff survivors accordingly.

Aren't there literally tournament level players who acknowledge that The Nurse is pretty unbalanced? Kill rate is not indicative of balance; see Hillbilly and Plague.
We have to consider the balance of the killer to be relative to how they are played when the player understands how they work well. Nurse doesn't just need a nerf. She's an anachronism of the DBD of elder days. She needs a full on rework, from the ground up.
