3 disconnects in 2 games in a row and still getting tunneled... This game is easy mode for killers..

Opened this thread and was immediately disappointed to see that Sluzzy wasn’t the OP

That's a teammates problem, not a killer problem

I agree that when a survivor DC’s the game becomes easy mode for killers. However, it’s quite a stretch to say that that the game *in general* is easy mode for killers. Once you start going against players that are competent in utilizing broken loops and tiles in certain maps, or going against coordinated SWF teams, the game quickly swings to being very survivor-favored

Already finished it long ago

Here is the catch.. it's not 1 match it's like every match for me I just gave an example for the first match photo then I moved I didn't care much then next match is the same and every match is the same experience in soloQ it never ends.
0 -
I wasn't? the post clearly blames both ? I did blame the whole dc punishment system and survivors acting this way and trolling like for example league of legends if you troll or anything this way reports are usually gonna get you punished easily.

I still find solo more enjoyable than swf. A no mercy killer just means they were prepared for swf sweat squad but received survivors not on that level.
0 -
It's usually the same in both situations.
Oh 4 survivors? let's tunnel 1 out of the game.
Oh it's 3 survivors because 1 dc'ed now they can't do gens at normal speeds so let's tunnel 1 since they have all the time in the world to do it.
0 -
True most of dc's I experienced were a result of killers tunneling someone exclusively or camping hooks or the usual it's a nurse then they dc
0 -
It's too much now every killer tunnels and it directly results in dc's which benefits killers mainly so soloq survivors are suffering from it mainly because the game is hard enough 4v1 and why even bother playing at 4-5 gens with 1 dc it's not worth it
0 -
Who's causing it tho? tunneling if that was fixed by the devs + face camping survivors won't dc as much

Survivors that play with zero strategy is the biggest issue with solo queue. I had a match recently where I was the first person downed. There was some sort of glitch. Once I hit the ground I couldn't move, the killer couldn't pick me up, and I wasn't progressing towards death because the progress meter for that never showed up. The killer stood there trying to pick me up for several minutes. During that whole time none of the other 3 survivors attempted to do a gen. They just snuck around the area I was laying. I can only assume they were all trying to be the first one to rescue me. Not only did they not complete a gen in several minutes time, but they none even did a second of a gen. I finally just DC'd and took the penalty. The majority of solo queue survivors don't seem to play this game with escape as their main objective.

I feel like it's mainly how boring gens are so if the game had like a different playstyle of you searching the map for parts and installing them it would be much more fun and appealing maybe.
2 -
I like that idea. I think there are lots of possibilities with that idea.
1 -
Let me get my violin.
Again your issue is with people who DC, not your opponent.
1 -
Yeah like you need to fill gens with gas and do more fun stuff it will change the game dramatically
1 -
You're still here? thought you had hooks to face camp and survivors to tunnel. Don't forget to equip your NOED.

Yes i get that it's frustrating when getting tunneled, especially if you're not used to.
I too found it annoying when i started playing day 1 of the console release, but i played both sides and watch what others did, learned from it, adapted parts from them and improved my playstyle.
And then i just was making sure the killer would see me and would chase me, because that is what i loved.
Would that mean i got tunneled?
Yup.
Would that mean i could be face camped?
Yup.
Did it happen?
Most definitely did.
Did i care about it?
Nope definitely couldn't care less about it.
It's all part of the game and that's just what it is at the end of the day, just a game 😉
Before you say anything about soloQ, yes i only played soloQ.
You want to know how difficult soloQ can really be?
Try playing no mither 😉
My build was always, no mither, dead hard, windows and kindred.
Using a bright outfit for the survivor so the killer will easily spot me.
Windows and kindred i would occasionally swap for different perks but never used ds or iron will.
Try playing like that and see just how much the killer loves you then 😬😉

Who plays no mither it's like crippling yourself and saying to the killer to chase you because you're the easiest target to down why would you chose to do that ?
0 -
Because once you know the game and how to loop, it becomes so simple and so boring.
Especially when killers realize they should not chase me because they are wasting time and losing the game.
This way it gets more interesting for me and more fun, and believe me when i say i don't cripple the team.
The killer rarely gets what he so precious want and that is a down on me.
I know soloQ for some people is very hard and/or very unfun, but soloQ for me is stupidly easy.
Doing gens, get the killer chase me, do some saves and heals and then escape mostly every game is not a challenge for me.
So making it a more interesting and play no mither.
The only downside of no mither is versing Oni 🤣

That's when you master the game but typically the majority are casuals just trying to have some fun after work I get bored easily so I can't stomach more than 3-5 matches at most in a day so it's not good enough to become god looper 69, if a minority of dedicated 2016 gamers that spends his whole day playing survivor is the measurement line for balance and skill that's just nonsense since the majority are potatoes that will get downed as soon as killer catches up but no if Godlooper69 is doing well then we should adjust the game based on that. Same thing goes for casual and new killers that are stuck facing pro survivors.
0 -
Never said i was a pro looper or anything an no i didn't play the game the whole day 🤣
I have a day time job so by i played from 19:00/20:00 to 23:00/0:00 only during weekends i played more hours.
But never said anything about balancing, that is what you wanted to read but wasn't there 😉

because most solo Q players are awful doesnt mean the game is killer sided, by far do you think having almost 6 or 8 safe tiles connected to each other , almost on every map is fair or fun for killers? (if people gets caught that just being greedy or pretty bad at looping to be honest)
1 -
Uh okay buddy whatever floats your boat.
0 -
The majority of survivors are not good at looping if a killer sees them it's over usually they get downed near the first pallet or hit through a window but all survivors are blamed for the 1-5% good loopers.

Tunnelling and camping are both confirmed to be legit tactics by the devs and they're not going anywhere. Face-camping is a bit worse but still, if your team-mates are DC'ing then the issue is with them not the killer.
2 -
Sheesh, that just screams "low self esteem".
0 -
just an advice, get a 4 man stack, playing soloq is infuriating
0 -
I never slug to 4k. If the last guy gets the hatch then good for him. I like to treat it like a mini game, first to the hatch wins. Survivors are still usually toxic and BM when I do this but it's whateva.

Ok so, tunneling and camping are not "bad". They are effective strategies that work to help you win. You're basically saying "you tried to win how dare you!".
It'd be similar to saying "wow these survivors worked on gens right away and finished them, that's so scummy how dare they!".
Both sides are just trying to win.
Tunneling and camping suck and should be changed so that it's more effective not to. But it doesn't work that way right now, so as is right now, they are still good strong strategies.
Second off, you should be mad at your teammates for the DC. The killer didn't make them DC, they were just playing the game. The survivors however made the conscious effort to go "naw screw this team, idc about them I'm not having fun and my fun is the only one that matters." and to leave the match.
If you want to make the argument "well killer's shouldn't tunnel or camp since its not fun" you need to also agree that "survivors should stagger their gen completion since focusing gens is not fun".

SoloQ isn't enjoyable anymore cause of swf (most bully squads), today killers just start with the mindset of going against good survivors. Sometimes i tryharded as killer cause i thought the survivors were a bully squad, they got smashed and i felt bad. They choosed Rpd in the time of boil over + library= unhookable. In the end game chat they said that it was their favorite map for resident evil. So yeah, killers are always bad guys that want to be bad guys cause thry enjoy it, not because they are exhausted sometimes. Just think about that, the killer do the killer, someone is toxic yes but if your teammates quit you can't blame the killer.
0 -
Why killer chooses to tunnel then? Maybe he wants just easy win it's harder to win 4vs1 but lot more fun but not everyone want fun game just win and 4K.
0 -
Lot of times I have had games where was 1-2 gens left and still 4 survivors alive but by that time most of them are on dead hook so at that point I usually get 2 kills very fast and then it's 2vs1. Worst case scenario is 3K and other one escaping through exit gates at that point.
0 -
To many people go, the killer is tunneling! You state to blame the killer gameplay and people don't focus on why the survivors DC. Yet ever consider to figure out why most killers do it?
By your own accord the survivors try to instant unhook their teammates, which makes the obvious choice for the killer to turn around and wack the same guy. If the team wants to instantly remove all the pressure generated by the killer, the smart thing is to simply punish it. If survivors were more focused on sitting tight for 30 seconds on gens, give the killers some space and make it less effective?
The person which is receiving the punishment isn't the one that made the mistake, but as a survivor you are part of a team even in solo queue. The it would even be better for the team that if you are the one receiving the short stick, to stick it out and provide a chance for your team... but they DC.
Now it is the responsibility of the killer to ease up? That is so hypocritical, if a killer gets creamed not a single survivor will give them a free hook mid trial, you know to bounce back?
Blame your team for disconnecting, playing aggressively and failing to do the proper thing. Gens are boring, but it is part of survivor gameplay and so is hanging on the hook for 60+ seconds.
There is nothing wrong with playing to win... both sides do it.

I,m not even lieng i go afk or suicid aswell if the killer camps me to second stage or wait ds out at like 3-5 gens its no point in keep playing and giving the killer even more points bhvr needs to buff solo hard if they ever want to get all the people back who left mmr killed dbd in all ways
1 -
That's why I keep saying the main cause for it is how easy to tunnel and camp survivors and everyone is calling it strategy ! the problem is BHVR not looking for a solution that will make the game fun and fair instead of staring contest with killers until you die on hook.

I'm so tired of seeing this reaction when people tell you it's miserable and not fun to play against which is the reason why this game can't keep newer players and only the older players of DBD can put up with these broken mechanics.
Let me give you a scenario:
You're playing COD or any shooter, let's say anytime you spawn in the game someone has a clear scope and ready to fire right when you spawn back in the match. Is that fair at all? The devs and community are asking survivors who get camped and tunnel to just sit there let your teams do gens. Not very interactive gameplay am I right?
The fact that you need perks to combat this is an issue as well lol.
While yes survivors go over board and cry most of the time and even entitled as well, gamers that actually played balanced games know that it's literally just broken.
1 -
Basically yeah it's the equivalent of spawn killing in shooters. I've never seen a game with such camping mechanic that totally ruins the other players experience but since bad killers are benefiting from it they will defend it.
0 -
The difference is that in the case of the Killer that is his actual objective. It is job to secure that kill. This isn't some jerk spawncamping instead of doing an objective somewhere else.
And the "not fun" argument doesn't seem to apply when I'm getting chain blinded or kick 17 pallets in a single game. Every game is going to have things the other side does you don't like. That is inevitable in a competitive game.
2 -
You're trolling?? DBD is a competitive game??
How many staring contest does there have to be?? It all leads to the staleness of the game and player drop recently.
I do agree that there are too many pallets on maps but not every survivor runs each map and tile efficiently most people will just pre drop the pallet after making one loop.
You didn't even answer if you feel it's balanced gameplay, never mind what BHVR said when we all know they don't know how to balance, now you're taking their legitimate strat explanation?? So they know what they're talking about? The same balance team that brought CoH into this game? The same team that buffed boil over but got easily exploited and had to be de-buffed? It's quite literal a smoke screen to cover horrible game mechanics but i guess some loyalist can't see that. No one has a problem with securing a kill but making the game a 3 V 1 off the bat is miserable especially when it's a designed 4 V 1 but matches often feel like a 1 V 1.
1 -
I am being punished with penalties because other players are disconnected. penalties are no longer useful in this game that is full of bugs

People who believe they are too good for our lord and savior, Lightborn deserve to get chain blinded. Once they become enlightened, they will be protected from this shameful disgrace.
4 -
Preach the word brother. Hail the lord 😎
1 -
Yes. It is a competitive game. Go google what the word means. It does not mean "played at the esport level".
Two sides are playing AGAINST each other. That is a competitive game.
4 -
... do you have any literature?
0 -
You're an absolute troll.
You're not even going to acknowledge my question but go ahead and blurt your side of things? Obviously you don't want a discussion and just want to throw your own 2 cents into the conversation.
Go ahead and keep talking to yourself because it's obvious you're just tagging me to tell your opinion lol
1 -
Maybe your version of fun is different from their version of fun.
2 -
I think I answerd this to someone who was pointing out that is unfun as killer to tunnel someone quickly out and then play 3vs1. I think that is boring too. Most fun are those situations when there is 4 alive and they all together and you can get lot of hits on them and get few slugs. Well slugging everyone can be fun too but I don't usually want to end match too soon so I go for 3 slugs at most and then hook them.

Sure I get it. I find a 3v1 game more fun as killer because it’s more manageable and survivors often play less obnoxiously once they are under some real pressure.
This creates the horror movie setting I’m looking for where rather than trying to waste my time in chase, survivors are trying to get away. At 3v1 this game shines when playing killer so getting it to 3v1 asap is often my goal.
Yes one person will be eliminated early and may not find that fun, but I’ve largely stopped caring about that. Not out of maliciousness but rather it’s only a game and I just play it how I want that’s all.
1 -
You probably don't get nice comments especially doing that every game but it's fine I find it just boring. I only do it when it's only option or someone manages to make me angry. I like when they take more risk in 4vs1. It's not as easy to manage but lot debends which killer you play. I want to win on merit so that's why tinneling feels cheating. But when I do tunnel it's usually best looper of the team who makes me mad. That ends me losing as others just do gens. You probably play myers? He is pretty weak so tunneling weakest survivor out often is only option to have chance with him thought. I think some killers need buffs so they can be more viable and corrupt invertion should be basekit. But also tunneling needs to be nerfed for survivors it's miserable experience often.
