Still no voice chat in the game?
I need to use my cellphone to talk with my PC friends (Im from PS4), I cant believe they implement crossplay without a voice chat system

Game doesn’t need it. Third party voice chat will always be better than anything Behaviour would come up with. With their track record, even if they did introduce a voice chat, I wouldn’t doubt that it’ll brick peoples systems.

They announced they are working towards a more safe enviroment in the anniversary stream. This would work hugely against this goal since the community in this game is on the peak of how toxic a game can get. A text chat can atleast be filtered so its borderline acceptable. If you are playing with your friend use a third party voice chat.

If they added this in I would turn it off immediately. No hesitation. No questions asked. This game does not need voice chat.

I would rather not hear survivors screaming at each other in solo and not only that but people would troll and do things just to be annoying, or just have a trash mic, a smoke alarm battery going out etc...I would turn it off or quit playing lol

Voice chat would have some very nice and fun applications. It would also mean you'd spend two out of every three matches getting cussed out by your opponents and called every name under the sun for trying to play the game in peace. Sometimes you'd even find someone spicy who just shrieks into their microphone for five minutes or plays ear-blasting static.
And unlike endgame chat, there's a very real gameplay opportunity cost if you choose not to participate. So yeah. It's a Pandora's Box best left unopened.

As I said, you cannot really use a third party voice chat in ps4 to play with your friends from others plataforms, I dont want them to add voice chat in every match, just when you are playing in group with others friends, I hate how I have to decide between my friends or the game

No need. Also if they would add it there I will perma mute everyone including myself of course as well. No, thanks.

There is absolutely no way they would add that feature with this community in mind. There definitely needs to be a ping system where you can let your SoloQ teammate running towards the hook know that you have BT, just in case they wanted to save without it.
