Boil Over seriously needs a nerf.
Being able not to make it to a hook or an important hook goes a long way. Nerf this, it's so annoying and unfair being able to get a hook.

It got nerfed already it will pretty much come back to its original version

It doesn't need more nerfs.
It doesn't always guarantee a wiggle either.

It just got nerfed back to basically it’s original state.

It's been nerfed TWICE. It's basically back to it's pre-buff state.
6 -
It still has the drop effect, so its a damn sight stronger than it was

Iron grasp, Agitation or both.

Git gud.

It's fine now. It has just enough interruption to throw you off on tight areas and then small boost to their escape if you fall from a height that isn't 2 steps tall.

I still feel like its unreasonably hard to control on console.

I’ve rarely had any issues with it since it got nerfed. It’s not used that often. I think it’s fine. When I do see it, I enjoy letting cheeky survivors bleed out when they run to a part of the map where they can’t get hooked.

It’s fine now. If there’s any remaining spots on certain maps where survivors can’t be hooked, then that’s a map design issue that needs to be addressed, and I do think hooks breaking permanently after sacrifice needs to go.

It's a Hacker's tool, if you see one person using Boil over and No mither, its a hacker and better prepare for massive BS, also record the game as soon as you see it.

It's been Nerfed to its original version practically what more can be nerfed jeez

Change its effect entirely.

This. I think a good study over what hooks are and are not feasible to reach needs to be looked at. Especially if hooks are missing or sabotaged. If the killer misplays sure they should lose their prey but if it's not mathematically possible? That's a problem. A survivor shouldn't ever be allowed to basically have a zone where they know they can go down and never be hooked.

You have to move your camera with the wiggle sways. It's not too hard and it's worked for me for as long as I can remember.
Trust me there's no reason to nerf this perk anymore.

It doesn't need any more nerfs or it will go back to where it started. It doesn't always guarantee a wiggle and if there's any more abusable spots, it's the fault of map design, not the perk.

Boil over has been mostly ineffective for me even with an entire loadout around wiggling off the killer. It happens so infrequently for me that when it does I'm shocked I even made it. If a survivor using this perk wiggled off, you probably downed them in a bad spot that gave them the time they needed.

Idk why so many people think the perk has been nerfed to an effective pre buff state in this thread when its still 5% more wiggle effect and a bonus effect for 0-25% bonus wiggle from dropping off ledges its still more than it used to be so we should still recognize ops opinion on it.
But personally I don't think it needs to be nerfed atm

Doesn't help me when I get stuck on map geometry

why

It's either going to be too strong or too weak. And its gonna disproportionately affect part of the community when its strong.
That's a sign of a poorly designed perk. Rework it to be more useful.

It's extremely problematic for controller plays because sometimes I get completely stuck when the survivor has it you could even revert it to it's 25% effect just remove the extra 5%

Just remove effect wiggle meter when the Killer drops from great heights.
It should get deleted.
