The forums will absolve your sins.

Well, let's just say you failed at being the bigger person and not doing anything, to break the cycle of toxicity and scorn in this situation.
7 -
Not toxic.
YouΒ΄re good.

DBD players dont know what toxic is.
HItting ctrl is not toxic, I hit someone on the hook they cry in chat like I hurt them IRL.
Lets go back to Ultima in the 90s, Ill show you toxic. Ill camp your corpse so you cant even log back in the game. Camping in dbd is kid stuff, we used to camp in the 90s and grief these kids.

Yeah but it's just an eye for an eye

I don't think anything will break the cycle of toxicity in this game.
2 -
Known fact toxicity just breeds more toxicity.
2 -
Nah, I say she started it first and it's fine to poke a little fun at her, it is a video game after all, she will be fine with a teabag. Body blocking and not healing someone actually affects you in terms of gameplay, teabagging doesn't, she'll live π

On dbd its appened long time ago

And the world goes blind, is the answer to that saying in my mind. π΅
And just like with climate change and plastic waste pollution, everybody has to make the first step and be the change for it to happen.
And yes, i know that i am preaching idealistic principles i am not 100% following myself but toxicity in a video game is a trivial change compared to real life problems.

Any action that is intented to inflict a hightend emotional state like anger or rage is toxic and unhealthy in my book, be that tbagging in videogames or (verbally) taunting in sports.
All unsportsmanlike conduct aimed at aggravating the opposition to induce failure in decision making.

Personal responsibility in climate change is a successful PR campaign by oil companies.

If your own friend is trying to tell you that you are being toxic, it is probably worth listening to. Most "friends" are sycophants, or not friends at all.
It would probably be a good idea to inner reflect instead of deflecting.

This is not toxic, this is Justice.
I've met survivors like that one, both as survivor and as killer. When I'm the killer, sometimes another survivor spontaneously helps me to punish the guy for basically trying to kill his teammates. It happened again earlier this week.

Its only karma, she highly ######### you over

This forum is not worthy! Write a book about this.

Play with the said friend again.
When they get hooked, spam unhook on them until they die.

Your fine, not toxic at all

Another person's bad behavior does not justify or make right your own. All you prove is that you are not better than him.
Your friend is right to hold you to a higher standard, as friends should be forthcoming and should always try and be a self improvement inspiration rather than trying to justify our defects or mistakes.

Yeah ok but a t-bag never killed someone

Your friend is right. The only difference is that you had a reason to be toxic.
0 -
Correct. It's a fairly minor occurrence. This doesn't make it right and potentially makes it worse.
One thing that I have noticed is that people that are willing to degrade their own morality, whether it's petty thievery, cheating or being an ass, over something utterly minor, are almost certainly going to do so over pretty much anything else.
In this case you indulged on toxic behavior over another person's similar behavior. On a game. On line. Which would have no further effect past the next few minutes. This suggests that you possibly would do so on many other circumstances.
I'm really not judging, I'm simply trying to explain my position. I think one's morality, dignity and self respect are far too valuable to compromise them over something so insignificant and doing so degrades us as persons.
Thus, I still agree with your friend on calling you out. I would expect any friend of mine to do the same for me.

I only t bagged her once, then i helped her

I'm only toxic if the other person is toxic. Mikelas blocking u in a corner is toxic.

There are 2 possible explanations for this.
1) that is not your friend
2) you are toxic
0 -
No, it only makes two people blind. There are more than two eyeballs in the whole world.

Since you appear to have your mind made from the outset, one quick question.
Why did you start the topic? Are you seeking validation due to insecurities?
Or is your friend also reading the answers and you are both trying to find out who is in the right by submitting the matter to the assessment of the majority?

That all assumes that there will be someone who wishes to avenge the original perpetrator rather than just condeming the original perpetrator for their actions in the first place.

We just trying to find out who i right but there is no more problem. And obviously see if this is considered toxic since i try my best to don't be toxicπ

You know what they say an eye for an eye. They probably deserved it but you should of been the bigger man.

But what if you flip a coin enough times and one day it lands on its edge?

Or it drops into a hole, never to be found again.

Schrodinger's coin.

Indeed.

Lol, fair enough. ^_^;;
