Same Map Twice in A Row
I have no idea if this has been pure coincidence or not this entire time, but when I get one map, there is a high, high chance that I'll enter the exact same one on my next game. It's really weird and I'm beginning to think it's just common knowledge that this is how the game works. Does anyone else out there experience this, or am I just getting the weirdest chances actually happening?
This mostly happens on Survivor, not often on Killer. Am I just underestimating how many maps are in this game, or..?

A while back I've been sent twice to haddonsfield by the game itself and 5 times by the survivors, all 7 times in a row.
Needles to say that i never saw the 7th time tbh 😬😅

Damn, that's rough. Haddonfield pre-rework really wasn't that great. Getting it seven times in a row? Definitely not a fun time.

Since mid February, every 5 or so matches I’ll get back to back games on the same map; sometimes 3 consecutive games! Thought I was cursed, to the extent where I’ll bring an offering every few matches just to be certain to be sent to a alternate realm.
oddly enough, this month I had a day with every MacMillian map over the course of 5 games.

Coincidence. I've gotten Ormond 4 times in a row before and Midwich 3 times in a row on the same day (With no offerings). Sometimes the RNG just really likes to give you the same maps over and over again.

Had yamaoka estate 3 times in a row and I hate that map, It's very common that I get the same map twice or 3 times in a row.

2 times it was just the game and 5 times where the survivor brought the haddonsfield offering, so indeed 2 times without any influence of the survivors.

Definitely not fun indeed i don't mind getting it from time to time, but not time after time.
That's why i didn't play it the 7th time and just closed the game and left it for the night.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I'm wondering if this has ever been addressed? Every time I play as a survivor I keep getting the same map (without any map offerings) and face the same killer 3 to 5 consecutive games (whilst facing different players ofc). Gas Haven now 9/10 times equals facing Michael or Ghostface. Badham is always Trapper or Pig. How is that RNG when it happens several games in a row, with innumerable maps?

I just happens. I got the cornfields like 6 times in a row one night. I was very tired of corn by then. I wish they had like a little meter, like higher chances of a different map if you haven't played it alot. Like, I LOVE Eyrie but I am lucky to get that map. :/

The other day i literally didn't play two games in a row that weren't in the same realm. It happens so often I started wondering if it was somehow a bug; the bloodweb sometimes bugs out and spawns the same perk over and over again (until you pick it) so I thought maybe it could be possible for maps to be bugged in a similar fashion.
In reality it's probably nothing but coincidences, even if i like to think there must be a reason as to why DBD sends me to RPD over and over again lol.

Dog, my friends gotten dead dawg 5 times in a row and I've gotten fractured cow shed 4 times in a row. It happens. All ik is that a new map right after release is more common to get

I had grim pantry 4 times in a row, and 5th game it was the swamp offering that had sent me into malding spiral
