Miserable Bubba games lately?
I been trying to get Bubba adept since I gotten 2 done lately, but so far I'm lucky if I can even get a hit on a survivor at least once. Survivors seem to move ridiculously fast and fix gens too frequently, too.
I don't know if high MMR is just screwing me over, OR people just toggle cheats as soon as they see "The Cannibal" when loading in and think I'm going to just be another facecamping insidious bubba in the basement. It's getting to the point I don't want to play him because I lose rank more than gain.
Anyone else been having this issue, or just me?

He can be quite tricky to play against competent survivors. I had someone who felt like they had auto deadhard to the point where I just started opting to chainsaw him while he was injured, lol. I am not saying he was actually cheating or anything, I am just saying sometimes the caliber of player feels that way.
But anyways, Adept is more or less impossible unless the survivors are very bad or throw without raging. So I would derank a smidge if that is your goal.

No. I am saying to lower your mmr and then get the Adept first try.

This is not a bad mindset to have really, with respect to adepts.
The thing I don't get about these so called "achievements" is they are worthless, completely worthless.
People bend over backwards to get some phony badge in a game and its completely meaningless, most of then are just passive effects that you'll get over time if you just keep playing.
There is no real achievement about them whatsoever so why people crave them so hard baffles me.
If you just keep playing with the required perk loadout you'll eventually get it, is basically how adepts work.
I guess its doing its job, keeping people playing by making them strive for imaginary goals.
If you want to get it faster do what everyone else did tank your MMR by just letting everyone go till you get complete beginners and then stomp them for the adept.

Your monthly grade is not your MMR. It has nothing to do with matchmaking. You can't see your MMR without risking a permaban.

Whenever I know Im against a Leatherface I just asume he is going to facecamp or at least hard proxy camp because thats what most Leatherfaces have been doing since the masks got removed, I dont even try to go for the unhook unless I have a visual confirmation this one isnt camping, if he does leave hook Im usually pleasently surprised.
I just stay on my gen until it finishes and rush towards the next one, no totems, no chests, no saves, no heals, nothing but genrush, odds are whoever gets downed is going to get facecamped and mindlessly rushing gens is the only way to at least have a chance of getting out. Another thing a lot of people seem to do against him is not greeding a single pallet, throwing anything they find and just trying to stay away from him as much as they can because we know if we get downed odds are we are going to get facecamped with no chance of a rescue so its better to waste pallets trying to stall him as much as you humanely can until the inevitable down and facecamp, luckily you bought enough time for the rest of the team to fix the remaining gens before you croak so at least he only gets 1 kill.
Dont blame me, this is just an adaptation I developed against Leatherface after many MANY games against facecamping strats.

Bubba is weak can be dodged easily near pallets and windows he is only viable in open areas where there is no walls Billy is a better version of him.

Just continue trying and some places it's not possible to use chainsaw so hit them with m1 they can be surpriced by that. If you get swf it's very hard but agains't more average survivors it's possible. Try to get 9 hooks and everyone sacrificed I would say tunneling one out is probably good stragedy but it can backfire if others suicide so ideally try get some hooks before finishing first kill.

Well that stragedy can actually make bubba facecamp even if he didn't plan to. Gen rushing is the thing which makes killer most angry and it can change fair killer to be camping/tunneling killer. But it's ofcourse killer fault to not apply pressure on gens and not ending chases sooner. I have seen less facecamping bubbas recently usually they move to way now to go for chases. Huntresses camp way more I would say.

I don't really proxy camp unless the survivors are stupid and try and rush the hook and trying to punish them for it (because doing that against a bubba is smart). BUT the times I DID do the insidious bubba thing, I at least had some dignity and used the add-on that made chainsaw NOT an insta-down to give them a fighting chance.

Doesnt matter if you dont camp or proxy camp as Leatherface, a lot of Survivors just assume you will because thats whats been happening lately and adapt their playstyle accordingly.
