Cheating Pinheads
So I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into this. At the start of the match he goes right to the box. He's so efficient at finding the person doing the box or when it spawns in going to it that the whole match is a chain hunt. At the start there are vids to how people find it with lethal. Only thing is that he wasn't running it and went right to it.
Finding the person doing the box makes sense. A lot of people don't know how to time doing the box with the chains hitting them. So they could be giving him a warning.
Where I call bs is when it just spawns in. Its usually after he downs someone who has the box and it spawns in as he's hooking them. Now there's an argument to be made that if he's running bbq he can figure out the general direction. However I was watching his movements with kindred and every time he went right to it. Even if only 1 person would have been seen with bbq.
He's crossplay so I cant report him with the current report system bhvr has in play. I'm about 99% sure hes on epic or windows and using some cheats. I've ran into it quite a few times. If a mod or a dev sees this could you give us some insight on how to report non steam users?
Edit: Turns out half or more of the community think they are god gamers and do this. However I knew that esp hacks are out there and wanted to confirm that others were experience this. The point of this post is to spread awareness of it So that maybe someone higher up will do something about it. Either we got cheaters in the forums defending it or you guys are letting your egos get in the way of people who are actually cheating. Either way I'm not humoring it anymore. I've presented more then enough evidence to support it. More of the classic dbd community gaslighting that bhvr endorses i guess.

As some one who played a good bit of Pinhead and just killer in general, there are numerous ways to know where Survivors are without BBQ.
And its also a lot easier to know where the box is than you'd think.

He might just be extremely experienced at Pinhead

The box can't spawn with X meters of Pinhead and not within Y meters of a Survivor. So for some maps it isn't that hard to roughly know where the box spawns based on your spawn as Pinhead and knowing about where Survivors likely spawn. It's the same spawn system for the start of the game or any time it respawns.
Not saying that there aren't cheaters. But something like this can be learned rather quick through just playing Pinhead and figuring out the spawn rules for your box. Some maps it's very easy in fact to walk directly to your box.

I am experienced in killer and pinhead. That doesnt excuse this.
I'm taking into account game knowledge. I'm not talking about guessing a general direction I mean he bots right to it every time. No lethal but finds the box at the start.

I'm aware of this and took it into account with the original post. He didnt have lethal and found the box immediately at the start. He bots to the box whenever it pops up. Not goes in the general direction. Goes right to it. As I said I was monitoring his movements with kindred.

I find the box right away most of the time when I play cenobite.
Guess I'm a cheater lol.

You sure he wasn't running the chatterer tooth that allowed him to see it?

no tooth

That was in conjunction to the other things, but i guess you cant be bothered to read the whole thing.

I did, knowing where the box is isn't that hard lol.

I tend to have a good guess where the box will spawn on most maps (RPD can...step on a Lego) and I'll usually head there as I do my initial sweep.

He has the whole map and zero knowledge as to where the survivors are at the start. Goes right to it. After hooking he goes right to the box everytime. bots to it. Not makes a guess at the general direction straight line to it. You make a habit of defending cheaters?

Yeah I can do that too, but I have never once went from spawn to the box immediately without lethal. not guessed the area. right to it, and he did it every time it spawned as well.

I do this all the time, and I can assure you I ain't cheatin

By personal experience, I don't know what it is, but I am convinced at least 1 out of every 3 Pinheads I face are hacking in one way or another. I do not deny there are variables like game experience and skill with the character, but there is always that one match that just feels unnatural from beginning to end. Granted I don't see Pinhead that often, thankfully.
I have encountered hackers every now and then, leaving aside the obvious ones, there are some where it's really clear something is off.

Ok neat but what you think you are doing and what he did arnt the same thing. Theres no info perks helping him there is nothing letting him know where that box is everytime yet he still blines to it.

Could be cheatin, could play a lot of pinhead. For someone that plays him often, it boils down to mathematics. I think Otz did a video on it at one point. Ol Pinny is closest thing i have to a "main", n i pretty much know where the box is at all times. Tho, i usually dont spam the boxes unless survs are bein twats.

I've had similar experiences against Pinheads for whatever reason. They either have supernatural game sense or ESP hacks.

i think many pinhead enjoyers just watched Otz video on the box spawn theory

I faced with similar Pinhead. They always knew where was the box. So chain hunt never stopped. I never faced with that good Pinhead before.
They had not Lethal or any information perk, full slowdown. So i don't know they were so good or cheater

that only covers initial spawn and it includes lethal pursuer. Which he didnt have

I don't play pinhead much at all and even without lethal you can often make a good guess, especially on some maps
Me, very much not hacking:

LMAO the DC right after you open it

There is a hack for that (and many things in general). It's almost impossible to prove it's being used in a match, though.
For that reason, I suggest you don't lose any sleep over it.

Most pinheads are scummy anyway so don't lose sleep. I don't get why they play like they're in a tournament when they're already playing a mid A tier killer with a slowdown tool that requires no effort and a super strong chase power. I guess it's the same reason why killers run slowdown perks on blight, nurse, spirit, etc, lol.

SO in other words, no one was cheating, there's no video of any cheating and this thread is just a "pinheads are scummy" opinion thread because outplayed.

Yes, when a killer outsmarts a survivor... it's cheating.

This sounds extremely fishy, finding the box once using game knowledge and luck is normal, finding it twice feasible, but every time right after it spawns and bee-lining? reeks of wallhacking.

As a killer if you're applying pressure well there is usually what I like to call a "play area" or a "hot zone". Usually its becuase there are multiple gens in the area and this is where you and most Survivors are. Well when you are in control of said hot zone, you know exactly where that box is gonna spawn since you know all 4 Survivors are in that area, since there is no reason they should be any where else. I've also said this before and I'll say it again, there are numerous ways to find out where Survivors are without info perks. Do info perks help? Absolutely, but they are far from necessary.

As the number 1 pinhead player and advocator, you can definitely find the box without needing lethal or other aura perks. It takes practice but it can be super consistent and easy to do almost all the time. Things like BBQ make it even easier. Just having game knowledge and knowing "ok so 2 survivors are over there, 1 is on a hook by me, and another is over at that gen, so that means the box is at the spot no one is" is pretty easy to do. It isn't cheats and it is actually the best way to play him. Keeping a constant chain hunt is how you make him insanely powerful, and it can lead to him having one of the best early games.
here is my guide and it has a link to Otzdarva's video involving a breakdown. Now I will say, he does say Lethal makes it easier, however that doesn't mean it can't be done without lethal.

I guess the main problem is that, cheats or no, if a Pinhead can start a chain hunt straight away and keep it going most of the game, the survs can't really do anything and it's not a fun game.
