what if camaraderie worked similar to borrowed time
no i don't mean it gives the survivor who you unhook a free health state for 8 seconds. i mean instead of the person who has camaraderie equipped pausing their own timer when a survivor comes to them, it works the other way. so a survivor with camaraderie can pause the timer of another survivor without camaraderie.
my reasoning is currently this perk is very uncommon in solo queue and mostly used by very high level SWFs because of how effective it is against camping when coordinated. i think it's because when you get rescued in solo queue, there's no hesitation about it. you either get immediately rescued even if killer is returning, or nobody comes to rescue you. there is very rarely in-between cases, so camaraderie is redundant in most games (at least in my experience in solo queue). besides, there is no effective anti-camping perk, just anti-tunneling (babysitter, second wind, decisive strike, borrowed time) and anti-slugging (soul guard, unbreakable, tenacity, lol even flipflop)
if it was the other way around, then i think it would be much more popular for solo survivors like borrowed time is, because you're gaining time for yourself and the other survivor, on demand, instead of relying on another survivor to guess that you have camaraderie. it shouldn't affect anything for swf users of this perk. just a nice solo queue buff to an underrated anti-camping perk.

That makes a lot more sense.

...that's actually really smart

Could be abused with 3 others I guess? Otherwise that’s a great idea!

Perhaps make it like Prove Thyself where only one instance of Camaraderie/Kinship could be active.

I mean admitting it doesn't stack then no i reckon it'd be fine.

That’s ok for a change, but it still wouldn’t inform the other solo queue survivors that is in play. And especially without Kindred, the other two survivors don’t have a clue that the other survivor is nearby wasting the killer’s time. So regardless of whatever buffs or changes are made to the perk, #1 is that it needs to be clear to all survivors that the perk is available for use. In-game especially, but showing all perks to all other survivors in the pre-game lobby would be great as well.
Aside from that, it should work for both hook states. That would be one way to really punish camping compared to survivors’ options right now.
