Is it worth to report for verbal abuse?

Just wondering if this type of attitude gets punished or I shouldn't bother to report...

I would like to have some feedback from moderators or someone that has contact with the devs.

Would me amazing to have some communication ingame that someone that you reported got banned, and maybe even some bloodpoints? to encourage players to help with the cleaning.

    Should it be? Probably

Would BHVR ever act on reports on these types of things? I'm like 99% sure they never would.

Personally I wouldn't bother with it. Even if action is taken on a player you reported they don't tell you.

I mean you can try. I doubt what that guy said would result in any sort of ban tho even if the reports were looked at in depth. It's pretty mild.

I feel like tough bans would be one of the first steps to improve de enviorment. Hope they can do something soon.

I can recall either Mandy or Peanits saying that they do allow some smack talk. It's slurs, death threats and the like where they draw the line.

The person in question here seems really, really desperate to get a reaction out of you, tbh. You can take some solace in that, ig.

😂😂 "WE WON, YOU LOSE". Who cares? 🤣 Then in their next match they die and they will trash talk... Wth is wrong with them?

Idk. You can try to report him if you want.

Everything would already be better if there were real sanctions, even for so little. Man is thus made, an eternal immature child who behaves correctly only under threat. In a game or IRL, same fight. See what a lax policy looks like with DBD.

This is very mild compared to many of the things I have seen. For me, as long as someone doesn't cross the line and start saying things that involve self harm or making threats I generally turn the other cheek. I understand after a stressful match there can be some "heat of the moment" things said and after awhile they may feel bad for saying it. Emotions can really be stirred up after a bad match so I think its always good to consider that and realize after a moment people usually cool off and move on.

Yes, friend has been perma banned because of his anger issues coming out in chat lmao. Worth it to report.

having a bad match does not give you the right to be a douche in the chat, in fact nothing gives anyone the right to be a douche in the chat, heat of the moment or not.

If you had a bad match, don't say anything if the only thing that comes to your mind are slurs.

a little friendly taunt is ok, but anything above this should be reprehended.

Never said anything about anyone having the "right" to do anything in regards to what I was talking about. I was simply pointing out no one is perfect and people often do say things in the heat of the moment they normally wouldn't say and that I think people should consider that before getting offended over words. Its one thing if slurs are thrown around but most of the things I have seen people say is really just trash talk to each other. I understand some people may be more sensitive about this, but there is also a lot of people who aren't and can take it just as well they dish it out. In a perfect world everyone would just get along and this stuff wouldn't happen anyway. We're far from a perfect world though and DBD consists of a very diverse playerbase.
