Tunnelling is not fun exp but this does not happen every game. And plus you can use DS.

I don't know, you'd think with new killers & content there would be variation in games but nope it still plays out the same way.

Well Dredge did not add anything game changer, so i would not expect anything different. But next moth, we will get mid-chapter and probably they will change meta perks and they will buff base-kits. So maybe wait for next ptb, it has chance to change game.

At the same time, tonight most survivor teams were rushing.
I ended up having to play very harshly (tunneling with a side of camping when it was suitable) to counter that.
After a few hours of that regime, getting against yet another BNP/parallel gens team I've switched to play something else. (After some threshold, tunneling survivors gets stale..)

I've been running up against a lot of altruistic gameplay and builds today. That's cool, but when they are super aggressive with it, a lot of times I don't have much choice but to do a ton of slugging and tunneling out either the problem players or the weak links - depending on how they are set up.
Don't know if that has a single thing to do with anything you experienced tonight though, just something I noticed.

It's my first game against Dredge too! I know nothing about him so let's see what happens...
Got hooked after a good chase (although before getting caught, I like...lagged out a bit and teleported backwards like three steps. Is that the rubber banding thing people are complaining about? I've never seen that happen before...). Eventually saved

I broke the hook when he tried to get a second person hooked so I think he's mad at me. He hooked me again :(

Oh, he can teleport!!!! I thought he could only teleport to lockers but evidently he can teleport wherever he wants. Neato
I went into the basement anyway and saved the camped. It got dark and spooky again. He must not have a terror radius when it's dark and spooky, although he glows like a glow-stick when it's dark and spooky, which I guess is handy for us
I died. He had a Mori on so he Mori'ed me. I was at the exit gate and the lady I was with had Sabotage so I thought I'd get away when she sabo'ed the only hook nearby. Then he Moried me. Then she ran away from the gate for some reason and got killed herself by the EGC timer expiring. I'm not sure why...

because this is not a salt post or anything like that. Just wanted to state my experience was all. So I don't get why some are treating me like I'm crying when all I did was post one sentence. But seems to me people are so eager to defend their game I guess.

My first match was against a random Freddy that got somewhat bullied on the new map. He didn't get his first hook until egc but somehow managed to turn it into a 3k by camping. Honestly a pretty fun match. He damn near got the 4k.

I understand what you're saying but it's an endless cycle currently & yeah I just don't want to adapt the mentality to keep going hoping for better matches is all.

Tunneling is not the only way to win if you are good at chases and know how to apply pressure. But taking weakest survivor out is usually easy option. When I tunnel survivor it's usually the best looper and that's usually not good idea if you want to win. But they sometimes manage to annoy me enough. For win I think most effient way is going for chases and camp a bit at least for me.

You guys get to play against the dredge? I've yet to play a single game against it and I haven't seen anyone play the new survivor. I actually thought I mistook the release date for a while.

In games where dh is almost always prevelant... even taking out the weak link first can take enough time for there to be 1 gen left if the survivor has 2 braincells that know how to use it.

DS runs out when I'm getting tunneled?? It's literally useless if you can just loop killer because the perk is telling you that you have to go down & get picked up in order to use it but what if I'm tunneled and killer can't down me immediately?? Wasted perk slot.

What do you mean? You should be expecting this based on the killer's patch notes. Tunneling is exclusive to the Dredge and is a new addition with this chapter.

I got a tunneled by a Clown because I saw where his Ruin was on Garden of Joy. I was like A TUNNELING CLOWN!! 😭
Getting tunneled doesn’t anger me anymore. It’s highly effective so killers will do it. I just laugh my *** off.

If it takes that long killer has ######### up badly. Dh does not help much weaker players they rarely know how to use it effiently but it debends are they on pc when it's possible to use after killer has hit you and can be abused and certainly they need to have ds as well. When I tunnel weak survivor they are out of the game before 2 min in the match.
