Can't join friend / crossplay not working

in Bug Reporting

Step 1 : Boot the game

Step 2 : Play as survivor in a public match

Step 3 : In-lobby can't join friend on PC when im on PS5

Step 4 : Error says Game Version Mismatch, unable to join host. please ensure there is no pending update of the game in your download queue.

    It’s because the PS5 version is waiting for a patch from the devs to fix this, they fixed this for the PS4 players yesterday so now we just wait until it’s our turn.
