I'm a little disappointed in the dredge appearance, how about you?
Firstly I wanna say the art department usually does an amazing job and a non humanoid character I'm all for!
However I have issues with the dredge mainly the "black smoke" section as I see this solid cone shape with a smoke effect added around it and this causes an eye sore, I dont feel I should be seeing those harsh lines and the whole smoke should look more fluid.
Next is I have no idea what I'm looking at, the doll skin is amazing but the base stuff I cant tell what it's all meant to be, is it animal parts? Human parts? Just random meat blobs? I feel this takes away from the look as I don't know what I'm actually looking at.
I know I'm being picky, but I love horror and this was a real chance to go that extra mile of gross

Base skin consists of merged body parts from the people who died in the cult massacre.
I can sort of see your complaint with the "cone shape" under the fog but I don't think it's too distracting. Sure , it could be better, but it's not that bad

I think it’s decent enough. Much better than Bird Poop Lady. They could improve the lower part and make it more smokey/cloudy though.
The baby doll cosmetic is great though.

Seriously? I think it was extremely creative and watching people react to the killer on Twitch, I think the new killer has brought a fear element back to a horror game.

Well if played and watched horror for most of my life so creatures or human body parts together is quite common 🤣 I think nightfall is great and I'm glad they took a non human approach just feels like a few corners was cut that holds it back alittle.

Yeah, I agree. His design isn't bad or anything, but it feels like Behavior tried to make it both a real, physical monster and something more unknowable and eldritch and it doesn't work that well. I think it would have been a lot better if they just leaned more in either direction.

Think he looks better from behind. His eye looks goofy and there's quite a lot going on out front lol. His silver muscle skin is the pick of the 4 imo.

I'm also not a massive fan of the black smoke section. Personally just looks like they never finished designing the body so went with the black smoke.
I just think they could've done something more with the body.

The black smoke is good for it because of mechanics and lore..
Downside.. The baseline body reminds me of .. things that belong behind closed doors.
So I'm happy with what they show, besides the head shape.. Too much japanese comics for me to enjoy it unless I'm babydoll head.

I don't really like the void section either as it looks too much like a solid cone as you said. I think the rest of it looks great though and I love the doll skin.

I think the point of the dredge is we're not supposed to know what were looking at. Thats what makes him so terrifying! Apart from a powered up Oni this new killer has been the scariest one to play against for me. The nightfall effect was a big surprise when it first happened and I absolutely love it. I hope we see more killers like this.
