Because he can tp to lockers at exit gates to cut you off? It is difficult, yea.

As if endgame for dummies wasn’t already an insult to survivors that manage to stay alive when all their teammates die… now that slim chance is gone when they can just teleport to a locker by the door.

“Just learn the new guy”. Lol. How adorable.

Put in a few more hours as solo survivor my friend. It’s unconscionable that the devs let solo play be so horrible. And like, ######### ever happened to hit validation? It’s as bad as it ever was. Teammates quitting, bad matchmaking, killers all with insane mobility or game ruining aura perks or one hit up the wazoo… it’s ridiculous. Killer may be harder to PLAY but it’s so much easier to WIN. Survivor is easier to play but you get your ass handed to you in solo play like 90% of the time.

I didnt say he was the hardest and i also disagree with your assessment. Any high mobility killer makes endgame mostly impossible. Billy, Blight, Nurse. Then there’s trapper. Then wraith who can now stand on the hatch open or closed since it takes seconds to open with a key. And he’s also high mobility. Then there’s RNG of gates on the same wall or both easily guarded simultaneously. There will ALWAYS be a locker close enough to the door to make it impossible to open in time.

Time to load up on Sole Survivor, Left Behind and Self Preservation. Now only add Diversion to throw it at other survivors and have fun with a ton of well deserved hate during the endgame...

But hey, looks like that is a viable strategy that should get its reward... o.o

Or do the 21% trick that works for me. You just open the gate to the point where the light turns on, then you go to the other gate, while the killer searches around the first gate for you.

Sorry to hear you can't take the time to learn the new Killer and sadly yes SoloQ is bad but it's not as bad as you say. I usually only die 50% of the time as the last Survivor. It's all about learning the map and learning the Killer. Dredge is hard but not impossible.

    Dredge > bubba

While I dont moan about any killer, especially dying when all the gens are done but bubba is by far the worst killer to get hooked with at end game.

Hell when that last gen pops and I'm in a chase I'm know I'm dead against a bubba, just how it is and it's not that bad you got to endgame. Killers have similar issues

You didn't get the gens done.

The killer played well enough to kill the other 3.

You didn't find the hatch before the killer.

The killer played well enough to find the hatch first.

You still want the odds to be changed to be in your favour rather than that of the more skilled player in the match on your third chance to survive.

One could make the argument that if the killer is that more skilled than the survivors, he shouldnt have played vs them in the first place and is only carried by bad matchmaking, you know.

You're right, one could choose to make a bad argument.

In any game someone's going to perform better, someone's gonna win. If every match was a 2k the game would be very dull. There's no legitimate reason to make the survivors' third chance to escape weighted in their favour to punish killers more the better they perform, and reward survivors more the worse they perform.

There would be more salt in the endgame chat, than what a Basement Bubba usually receives.

    Let me see...

Nurse, Blight, Pinhead and Dredge? (Am I right)

Switch to Killer, that's what I did. The games just much more fun. Also, when BHVR decimates the survivors perks, it will just be that much more miserable to play survivor.

Switching back to mostly Killer is so much more stress free and easy. You don't have to deal with face-camping, tunneling-off-hook-till-dead and slugging. I actually had fun and didn't realize how miserable playing survivor was with all the horrible game play mechanics that BHVR just leaves in the game.

There's plenty enough survivors willing to make their life miserable for your enjoyment. Don't play solo, it's a dead game-mode.

It's basically almost impossible to escape as the last survivor. So many high mobility/teleporting Killers. When the hatch was visible at a certain point, you would at least have a shot at it. Now I never get the hatch and there's no way I'll open the door in time when a Spirit is just zipping from one exit gate to the other. Or a nurse. Or a Billy. Or a teleporting Killer. Or a Huntress that can hit me from halfway across the map and around 2 corners.

If I was part of an SWF it wouldn't seem as oppressive (and would probably be a lot more fun). But Solo is the Russian roulette of DBD. You get situations like first person face-camped tunneled out- next person d/c's. 4 gens left. you know it all gone to hell. Next person thinks "What's the point, I'm killing myself on hook too".

Hatch gets closed b/c it's a Wraith moving at light speed to search for it. But sure, Exit gate is totally viable! /s . Lmao.
