Poor DCer received a little blade spam while Mikaela hook rushed her with Main Event available. Guess she didn't want to stick around for double BP on Fractured Cowshed. I actually didn't even know they burned a map offering until I reached the scoreboard. GG Nea 2.0!

What's the point of this thread?
Are you shaming the Haddie for disconnecting after being farmed off hook by Mikaela? That's not too outrageous of a choice IMO, though I'd personally just let myself die instead of give up my points.

I'm laughing at her burning the map offering, then DCing (that's Otz's Law) while on hook with what was going to be certain death. Main Event was not active when Mikaela went for the unhook, in her defense.
Most survivors aren't burning Coldwind Farm to have a fun, fair match. Not sure you've played on those maps recently.

There are two things that will make me DC/Suicide on Hook; #########'s on fire yo and getting farmed off the hook by my teammate.
I even stand there hoping the killer will take me down right away just to make sure the farmer doesn't get the safe unhook points

Corn maps are known for being some of the most disgusting, unbalanced maps for a majority of the killer roster. I'm not saying anything that isn't common knowledge or opinion.

Curious why do you call her Hattie Mae? And most likely she burned coldwind because she's sick of the 'voted' maps coming up. I went to Ormond 5x in a row no maps played, and Coal Tower 4x in a row in the last two days- rotate maybe 3 other maps. Also, could be because Dredges are quite common and Coldwind is one of the few maps with decent visibility in Nightfall.

I personally dont have many problems with corn maps on either side, there are way worse maps for killers..

Last year I asked a 4 man SWF once why they burned a farm map offering when they're already in a 4 man on comms with meta perks and they said they were bored of playing on Haddonfield lol

I never understood cowshed until I had a bubba archive and cow-tree was connected to a strong window on another tile and THEN, then, I understood the complete and utter nonsense that is cowshed. Every single survivor knew how to run it. I was bloodlust 3 for at least a solid 2 minutes.
Edit: To the people defending DC culture. Shame on you.

It's not DC culture, but being unhooked to be taken down immeditely again, or left to slug for a whole minute because of DS fear because a bad teammate wants to farm you is not fun. It impacts how the rest of the game is going to be for you, and changes of it happening again are high.
Why would no one want to pay with someone who is going to throw your game?

Me. I would want to play. I don't go into solo queue with false expectations, and I've never once quit early in anything remotely competitive because the other team impacted my fun. Play the game out and don't queue again. I honestly cannot believe how many people never got this lesson in sportsmanship from their parents.
It IS DC culture, because there is a whole slew of players (The majority of the community) that do not do or complain about this nonsense.

If you offered a map that is of great advantage to you and you disconnect the second you are not winning its just funny, they offered coldwind, but when things didn't when their way they just dipped, its quite humorous.

There was a video a while back where he (paraphrasing here) said that whenever someone offers a map offering, and something starts not going their way.. they DC.

If there was a map offering and someone dc's in the match then it was the person who used the offering that dc'd.
Otz noticed the connection and came up with the term as there's not really a quick way to say it so, Otz law. It also happens to be true a lot of the time as well, at least in my experience. Be sure to check it out yourself if given the chance.

Yea. As of late, Coldwind has been home to a majority of bully squads who are trying to bully people out of the game for good. Same with RPD

whats wrong with the nickname, also by correlating people calling her ugly to her ethnicity it makes you seem to be messed up. dont correlate that stuff, also nea was ugly not even close to being because of her ethnicity. the designs in this game for characters arent that attractive and neither should they be. just try and shift that mindset because its very unhealthy

I suspect the reaction arose from the fact that Hattie Mae is the name of characters or people that are black and that the OP uses it as a nickname for an ethnic character.

So here's the thing; when I first started playing I personally didn't know map offerings were considered toxic, and used them frequently on both sides. I also didn't know Coldwind was that survivor sided, I liked it because it was similar to Macmillian and Autohaven in tiles. Personally I think people probably aren't as informed of the "survivor/killer rulebook" of the community and use map offerings because they like the map. It's still funny to see it follow Otz's Law I guess lol, even if the circumstances were annoying.

I thought you won with blood warden trapper is so weak unless survivors fail badly. I once got no hook with him before endgame I played poorly. But then I downed one at the end, carried him to basement trapped the shack and everyone walked to my traps. I was bit ######### they were before that very coordinated and rushed the gens and knew to disable any trap.

Bloodwarden didn't happen in that game, Sadly its not as effective when far away from exit gates, I had to zone them early on just to make sure my traps wouldn't get found until they started looping, the key is proxy camping at a place closest to where you can get traps, the more traps the better.
SWF can communicate obvious traps, some hackers can see traps even if hidden.
