Running no mither shows how little people pay attention to ingame HUD

Doing the no mither no other perk challenge and putting aside all the DCing teammates and people not touching gens...

The MASS number of people that follow, constantly teabag while I'm on a gen to try heal me just shows so many people never look at the HUD or learn that I'm in the broken state...

This is why HUD upgrades for solos won't help, people still dont get you can crouch over hag traps...

    Reminds me of the time I used deliverance and asked my friend to heal me and he spent the next 20 seconds standing by me very confused lmao

    I wish killers also didnt pay attention to it so they'd slug you more. No mither is completely useless if the killer knows you have it.

    Literally my last match: playing solo against Hag. She traps the hook, i´m crouching towards it, to unhook a Bill. With Bond i see a Claudette rushing towards the hook, triggering 2 traps and getting grabbed off during the unhook animation. After safely unhooking Bill, i proceed to approach the hooked Claudette, while being crouched. She sees me coming crouched, without triggering the traps aaaand she instantly starts to run after getting unhooked, triggering the traps and getting hit by the Hag.

    Some people are really learn resistant and i agree, they won´t notice the information on the hud. Doesn´t matter how big the info is.

    I remember when there was no hud indication that someone was using no mither. You can give solo all the tools in the world. Won't change anything if they won't use them.

    Probably should be an indicator on the survivor or a message saying ‘broken status: can’t be healed’ if they otherwise can be.

    Theres an icon right next to their name and no healing bar pops up, we dont need a bunch of text littering the screen

    Well that's just mean lol

    Yeah I dont get why so many people keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome, like you know you set off the trap running at the hook, you know you have gone down every time... please learn or try something new haha

    Well this is why I dont want the solo Q buffs they suggest, wont fix people that are the main issue with solo Q anyway (people that dont do gens, hide in the corner, DC etc.)

    I still personally think the inclusion of those indicators into solo will genuinely improve the experience at least for me, because sometimes I don't know whether my teammate is hiding, repairing, or in a chase besides being obsessed even though yeah I think giving too much information isn't really the best way to fix it, but at the same time I really wish they would add those things in already. I don't really have super awful games and my teammates are mostly decent, but I do get the dreaded awful solo matches once in a while where people are self-caring in corners when the killer has sloppy butcher kind of matches lol. (Though as you said it is likely won't change how the people who don't adapt the play, but at least I can use that information to better help, my other teammates, instead of leaving it up to assumptions like "surely this teammate will go for the save" and they don't.

    It's text that is already there when you try and heal someone. It's simply replacing something that already exists, instead of the healing bar, it can be simply be redded out or something. For No Mither it's fairly obvious, but for things like Deliverance or killer addons or perks which apply the status it can be less clear. Knowing how buggy this game is too, people might continue to persist if they can't figure out why someone is broken.

    It does have the broken icon next to their name though and I physically spawned in injured so theres next to no reason for people not to know especially ones that SHOULD be near my mmr

    MMR is a joke. At least in my personal experience. The difference in skill that can occur in two consecutive games is utterly mind-blowing. On killer I can go from being completely run round and have no chance of getting more then 2 hooks or I can get 8 hooks without dropping a generator and I end up feeling bad and letting them go because of it. Also it's not like this game has a good single player/learning experience for these clueless souls to go to. Granted some people can't be taught and will insist on screwing up games to learn the hard way, but some people can be helped.

    Take the hag example given. How are they to know crouching does not trigger traps? Unless they loaded the tooltip that tells them such and those are complete garbage in some cases they can't possibly know that. Just because they see someone else crouch walking to a hook might just mean they are being careful until they've got them off the hook then think it's time to run because they know the killer is notified by this. That is one of the things the bare bones tutorial DOES cover.

    My killer games arent like that at all, I play at off peak and everyone be sweaty lol.

    Well theres no way that was their first game, and if it happens once dont keep doing it 😂 mmr is definitely not good at all, but when you can be broken multiple ways and it shows in the HUD.

    My point was a better HUD isnt going to help bad players or a bad SBMM that matches me with people like that
