I have been in this locker for 15 mins.
For reference, if he had killed all of them with Tombstone, I would give him this one for free, but one of the megs bled out so I dont think he is going to get the achievement anyway.
I do plan on leaving this locker if he decides to get far away enough and I'll give him the mori kill. I'm just curious on who will give up first (I think it might be me as entertaining as it might be).

Ok but you do realise we will need status updates on this, right?

I always wondered if this was hostage taking. The killer has to wait to get the kill for the achivement. But i blame that on poor achivement making. The survivor hiding in the locker is just denying the inevitable.
1 -
Not hostage since he can just take me out of the locker and hook me.
6 -
The achivement does state though to kill all 4 survivors by your hand using tombstone. So its really the achivement making this problem. And its a difficult achivement. Coming from someone who plays a lot of myers? Its fricken brutal. 90% of the time all the gens are done before you even got your first tombstone because both iris increase stalk required.

And people think I'm weird because I miss hatch stand off's in a way lol. Not all of it of course, don't get me wrong.
A lot of the times it was annoying af but it was also hilarious once in a while.
I had a good laugh in some situations.

Update: I was able to lithe away to another locker when he was looking away

One of the megs bled out so even if I gave him the mori kill right now he wouldnt get it, this is just out of stubborn from both sides at this point lol

Not hostage in the slightlest, Myers can open the locker anytime he wants and hook him thus ending the game, plus hiding in lockers and letting yourself get grabbed is the only real counterplay to Tombstone because he cant kill you even if he drops you to the ground so either he hooks and doesnt kill or he lets you wiggle off and risks you getting on a locker again.
4 -
Right? It can only be annoying if you really want that kill or escape, otherwise you can just let go lol situations like this make me laugh because it's just human behavior interactions, same with giving hatch/giving a kill etc

I mean if your gonna die anyway. Guess its not hostage taking. But it is spiteful to just stay in a locker when you know you will die anyway just to deny a achivement. Just my opinion of course. But op did clarify a meg already died besides tombstone so doesn't matter in this scenario.

It took me about 18 tries before getting it. (After training for a while for that purpose.)

Last update: He went really far away still in LOS and just nodded, so I left the locker and we met midway and I gave him the kill.
It was a PC killer so we were able to chat and he was a good sport.

I was thinking more of extreme redlight, greenlight.

I wonder why he wants the mori that badly lol. Maybe he forgot that meg bled out or something. Or he thinks it counts towards achievement.
I always hook people who jump in lockers when I play myers. Never gone for the achievement but got it anyways by just playing. Got 4 mori'd plenty of times actually. I don't think it is hard as people make it out to be. I think people are just impatient and want to get all the trophies in every game. They probably don't even play myers otherwise.
But this scenario is probably not about the achievement. It is just two peeps who want it their way. :D These moments some people would call frustrating but to me it is funny as hell, and I love that in dbd.
Someone else would probably make a rage post about it and you laugh it off which is cool. I respect that. We need to take this game less seriously. Props.

Ok wait for exhaustion to be over and lithe to yet another locker
Let's see how many you'll be able to enter

He was fully aware he wasnt gonna get the achievement, we talked about it in post chat, it was just out of wanting out way lol that's why it was funny
4 -
I thought about that since the hatch was still somewhere open after all, but all the lockers were too far away and he broke the pallet so i couldnt lithe away to the shack which would be the closest lockers rip
3 -
Yeah I saw the update now. You two are awesome lol.

Had a similar situation. Locker standoff with an infinite tombstone myers on Ormond. He tried to bait me out of the locker by hiding around the corner, so I jumped out and immediately jumped into an adjacent locker.
I got his hopes up and he was very unhappy about this. After I did this again, he decided to hook me.

POV: you walk into your parents room late at night to tell them you throwed up

If it wasn't for one bleeding out I would say just let him have it. But given the circumstance the killer is being a sore winner and should of pulled you out long ago.

Legend has it that if you go into a locker to this day, you can still hear heavy muffled breathing and feel an itch in your stomach...
2 -
I would've been petty enough to stay in there until the server closed down

I thought about doing that but I really wanted to play another game lol and he wasnt toxic or anything so all good

So... if i see the time stamps right. You spend over 30 minutes in total wasting on that locker?

Because

Honestly moments like these are part of what motivate me to keep playing.
Although, maybe you could have survived if you ran pebble to assert dominance.

Was able to use pebble with a Bubba before. I had given up since we were 2 left at 4 gens, I just threw the pebble right in front of him and he looked in that direction and played along and let me go, so can confirm it could have worked.

There was one time myself and another player kept hopping in lockers with tier 3 infinite Myers that had already mori'd our two teammates.
I had hopped into a locker near the gen I was working on when he first hit tier 3 nearby, he mori'd a teammate who decided to try and loop him instead of hopping in the other locker. He pulled me out to slug me, teammates came over to pop me up. Myself and one other teammate tried working on the gen, hopping into locker when he would come over. At some point after one of the times he slugged me he caught one of my teammates for a mori when they tried looping him nearby, during this time I decided to crawl to the basement which was in the killer shack for better pick up and lockers. Teammate picked me up as Myers showed up and we both hopped into lockers.
It was quite the standoff. He tried pulling teammate out and having them wiggle off in hopes of being able to mori them before a locker but they just hopped into locker above the basement. He ended up going back/forth between basement and upstairs in hopes of catching one of us because we'd hop out whenever he was on opposite floor. Few times he tried having us wiggle off in hopes of us being slower than him for a mori. I managed to get basement chest opened and heal myself during this. He could've easily hooked either of us in the basement but instead ended up bleeding us both out.
I always find the Myers standoffs pretty amusing. Instead of hooking the players and getting bunch of BP to get more add-ons to try again and hope next time they'll get a team that doesn't know the counter they instead do these standoffs and eventually bleed out the survivors if the survivor doesn't give up first.

Dayum, you are weird. :P

And here I am, always giving those Myers a free kill, because I know about the pain of some of those achievments and challenges.
One cool moment was with a Yui and me as Pyramid Head. I saw her entering a jungle gym and burst in, sword in the ground ... only to find her fumbling with some glyph, and I averted my projectile just in time and patiently waited till she was finished. She then turned towards me, we both nodded, I gave her a wack and then we resumed the chase. She ended up the last survivor, so I escorted her to the hatch and wer parted ways, there.

During green glyph after gens were done I stopped in front of Trapper to grab a green glyph, he grabbed me but then let me go so I could get the glyph. I then walked over for him to hook me, he motioned for teammate to unhook after they'd opened the doors. I saw other glyphs do figured I'd grab what I could quickly find then find him for kill - I ran up to him just as EGC ended.
There are times I will give killers kills. If the Mikeys will hook players that jump in lockers I'll be more willing to let them mori because I know they're still going to play the game with/without the counter. It's the ones that would rather have a standoff/bleed out survivors than hook them even once, I'm not just going to give them their trophy because it's hard to get.
