Can trapper get some more love after his buff?
While being able to carry 2 traps base is great and all, trapper should just be able to carry all of them at the same time. It may sound crazy to the balance devs but hear me out: trapper already wastes so much time setting up traps, but then he also has to travel to where the traps are and travel to the loops that he wants to set up. No other killer has to obtain their power in random places and also waste so much time just to be able to play. And yes his power completely stops loops but people can disarm them, dead hard through them, and if needed just take two m1s which makes his chase/downing potential a lot weaker. Also I think either his escape trap rng needs fixing to where you get 3 attempts guaranteed to get out of a trap but 4 attempts max, or just down an injured survivor if they get caught into a trap. Trapper is just in a really tough spot right now and if you add those 2 suggestions he feels a lot less outdated and frustrating to play (as being the mascot of dbd I really hope he gets more sometime soon).

Trapper is tough.
On some of the light maps with no grass his traps doesn´t work anymore at all.
To good players often disarm them immediately.
But sometimes when i play daylies, often at the end of the match, players start to step in every trap - this is when he is great :-)
He has some of the stuff you mentioned but sadly only with the expensive add-ons.

At the very least traps could spawn near the middle of the map instead of corners like swamp maps. Horrible.

3 gen tactic works great with trapper, just setup every trap. around the 3 gens and wait for them to finish all the other gens 😉

I'm aware but if you have to rely on a three gen to win as a certain killer every game then there's a glaring issue. The survivors could also just 2 man two gens and probably win. Also if the survivors are smart they're continually gonna run to the other side of the map when they get chased and you can't really snowball or pressure if that happens.

I'm fine with his limit on traps held at once, but his system of having to travel all over the map to get his power is incredibly punishing and doesn't fit DBD's gameflow in 2022. I'd like to see that changed so that even if he's designed to not have all of his traps available at the start of the game, he doesn't have to explicitly waste time to get his power.

He's in such a sorry state.
Give him all his traps, make them darker at base, make putting down a trap silent, more traps at base, make Iridescent Stone base kit and make the addon be a better version of it, Blood Coil base kit and give the addon a new effect.
Now because we gave him all that give him a distance limiter of how close traps can be to one another to prevent so many traps from being piled up around the same spot. This forces him to spread them out a little more.
The fact that I'd give him that many buffs should tell you how trash he is. What really kills him a lot is simply map design as well. Almost every single map needs like triple the amount of grass..like I don't understand why they put so little grass on every single map. It limits his creativity in trap placement tremendously.

He should reload traps from lockers.

Now traps spawn outside the corner, beautiful.
4 new maps have no grass (Midwich, Racoon, Crow, Garden), Im concern.
