I wont play a "farm game" because a of a dc or a cry baby survivor rage quitting

As a solo q survivor, I hate when there's an instant / early DC and the killer sweats like it's a tournament (tunnels, slugs the last two survivors before hooking them...), but I also don't expect them to farm and i honestly don't want them to because farming is very boring (and is also reportable under "working with the killer" and "refuses to engage in normal gameplay" i believe).
I also don't expect the killer to give hatch or whatever, I really appreciate it when the killer goes a bit easy on us but they don't have to, if we lose bc the killer played normally I'll blame the survivor who DCed, not the killer. (i will also be mad at the killer if they play super sweaty tho)

If a survivor is afk or dcs, blame that survivor. The killer didn't make them do that. Also why would a Killer not play normally in this situation? Would you wait and stop doing gens, if the killer was afk for a minute?

The real problem is that the developers give two ######### if someone disconnects at any point in the game as they have no mechanics to replace the survivor lost. Put in a bot with the same perks and character, give the remaining survivors some kind of minor buff, do something. It's hilarious that there's not even a reconnect feature, once you're gone you're just gone, who doesn't have a reconnect future in this day and age? Killers just getting a free win because it's 3v1 feels dirty but yeah you can't really expect them to just handicap themselves but nothing changing and the game being literally thrown because of a intentional or accidental dc is just plain lazy game development.

While I do hate it when killers don't farm as I like to win, I still don't blame them, but rather the survivor who dced. Plus most of the time I still escape anyway

So to this player & the OP, I have a question to ask.
Is it unsportsmanlike for the killer to continue playing after he's killed one player & gotten it down to 3v1? 'Cause that's what you sound like you're advocating.
Regardless, the killer is just trying to get the game done, for you to expect them to suddenly give up because your team-mate screwed you over is quite frankly childish.

Farming is boring, and not something any killer is required to do under any circumstance if they don't feel like it. If there's a DC, maybe I'll let one survivor go. Maybe I won't. I mainly just want the game to end as quickly as possible once a survivor DCs so we can all move on to the next. It was unsportsmanlike for that person to DC, it's not unsportsmanlike for the killer to just play the game out.

Durvivors who play SWF ad if it's fair. The core design of the game depends on 4 individuals with limited communication capabilities. SWF on comms breaks that. I think it was foolish to not anticipate players organizing and getting on comms, but that is how it was originally designed.
I don't want SWF gone, as it is fun for friends, but it seriously puts the killer at a disadvantage. Yet, SWFs still maximize their perks and items and give it their all. Why not?

I just want to add that I used to do a thing where I wouldn’t farm if someone DCed right away, but I’d back off. I’d take it easy, “forget” to check a Gen I was pretty sure they were on, go as far from any hooks as I could, etc, etc.
You know what made me stop? Too many comments after about how bad of a killer I was that they almost won/won with a 3 man, that clearly I was boosted and yadda yadda. Now I adopt the strategy of “get everyone to the next game ASAP because we’re not going to have fun this game” and I’m not about to change it. Occasionally get people like OP who whine at me for their teammate’s ruining the game like it was my fault but that’s a lot easier to stomach and is the standard attitude rather than total lack of awareness.
On the survivor side I play mostly solo, I see what my team does. If either of the others are suiciding or clearly giving up, I’ll just die on first hook to move on, otherwise I’ll keep trying. I don’t expect the killer to take it easy on us because of the DC, not like they chose for it to happen.

I genuinely hate that terrible people have ruined this game for those of us who just want to play the game normally. I'm a console player so I don't get why PC has post-game chat if it's just going to be used to be toxic. Just doesn't make sense to me.
It seems like the reason everybody's stopped playing nice is because of toxic survivors in chat. You try to do a nice thing for them? "GGEZ Baby killer. Off yourself." You had a rough game where you just managed to eke out that 1k? "GGEZ Baby killer. Off yourself." So on and so forth.

Sure it is why wouldn't it be, just play it out and walk away, if someone wants to farm sure if not then play it out and move on like a good sport.
There are only 2 unsportsman like behaviours here, the player who DC'd and the player that goes around making bogus reports because their opponent doesn't do what he wants them to.

I've come back from early 3v1's plenty of times. It's an uphill battle but definitely not unwinnable. Does this excuse the DC'ing? Of course not, but if the killer is going to continue the game as normal I suggest you do the same. Just take your licks, get as much value from the game as possible and move on to the next.
You can never try to dictate or expect that people will play a certain way under certain circumstances just because you want them to.

Edit : If anything ,killer farming with survivors can get the killer gettin banned for 1 day (i've seen it happen) while survivors don't get a single slap on the wrist for that because killer is supposed to control pace of the game
