Dirt is an imbalance, without skills

Sorry for my English, I'm from Russia.

A killer with a displacement speed of 4.6, his anti-loop is better than that of the pyramid-headed and the artist.

Teleport is devoid of any drawbacks and is better than Freddy, Demogorgon and Sadako.

His night ability is better than Freddy's, who decided that limiting the visibility of survivors is a good idea,

there are no skills from the killer in this, you just kill blind survivors without any counterplay.

In addition to everything, Mud does not have complex mechanical skills, such as those of Pestilence, Pinhead and Pyramid-Head.

Any weak player can pick Dirt, equip four deceleration perks

, and defeat most good survivors effortlessly.

His skill set is too overloaded, I'm just shocked that such a broken killer came out without

the slightest changes to live servers!

You can't play the same way against all killers and expect to do well. He's still new so doing poorly is kind of expected at first. experiment and figure out what works that you're good at.

Have you considered that he’s a new killer and people are still learning the counterplay? Quit asking for easy games.

This is why killers get nerfed to uselessness. A new killer comes out that is actually useful and provides somewhat of a challenge to survivors and instead of learning to counter them the first thing people do is complain about it being overpowered. I have played many games against Dredge so far. Sometimes they are better than me, can corner me/cut me off and apply pressure causing me to die. Other times I outsmart them at loops, mindgame locker teleports and vanish into thin air. It is all about learning counterplay and accepting the fact that some people will inevitably outplay you.

If you have such an issue with nightfall try running literally any aura reading perk. It doesn't give you blindness. Bond and Empathy can tell you where other people are running. Windows will tell you where loops are. Any Means Necessary can show you what pallets are being dropped and where. Spine Chill will tell you if he is looking in your direction.

Maybe complain less and learn his counter play? Killers don't need to be pointlessly nerfed because you didn't figure out how to play against them after one game.

    Also who is Dirt?

Mud is the name of the new killer in Russian. Dirt (rus - Грязь).

yup, in Russian localisation The Dredge was translated as "Грязь" which is basically "The Dirt" if translated back.

Other more literate translations sound a lot like special terms for goldseekers&geologists, so the translators stopped at this.

I'm not sure if the killer's name makes much sense in english either. I'd rather have it called "The Egregore" even though that would be too straightforward.

I would even be ashamed to play for a new killer, it's too easy. I play for Pyramid Head, Legion, Doctor, Shooter, Freddy (I played before their nerf), Clown, Pig, Demogorgon, Cannibal, Nemesis, Pinhead. All these killers have a fair counterplay, if the killer is an anti-cycle, then he is restricted in movement. But dirt is an anti-cycle, mobility, passive braking, and all this in one character, without any drawbacks. I play as both killers and survivors, I see that his set is insanely overloaded!

Dredge also slows down tremendously when using anti-loop? Do you even know what you're talking about or is this just pointless whining?

Firstly, the animation of the installation of portals is very poorly done, it looks like a shapeless biomass and it is not at all clear what it is doing there, especially during darkness. Secondly, it is a killer with a speed of 4.6, very often the survivors simply do not have the opportunity to be dragged into another loop. Thirdly, his bloodlust does not reset during the installation of portals!

bloodlust not being cancelled is a bug, 4.6 is the standard movement speed and, as artist has proven, still allows survivors to w key to the next loop and if it places a remnant, it slows down so much that it even survivors notice that it is going considerably slower, which is your cue to go to the next loop. Also if you are in a dead zone and can't reach another loop, that is the point of a dead zone.
