Survivors not understanding that Flashlights aren’t infallible.
I just ran into two Bills that tried to blind me while they are both injured. I was running Lightborn so of course it doesn’t work, but they stood there for at least 10 seconds. Letting me down them both.
Got called a hacker because “There is no way you can beat a flashlight!”
Has anyone else met people like this?

I never understand these types of players. On both sides, really.
You only want to blind when the killer is breaking a pallet or picking up a survivor. There's no other animations worth it. If ya miss the save, then oh well, that's it. Any other time, the killer can simply look up and completely avoid the flashlight.
Why people bother using them at inopportune times, OR why killers decide to use the perk Lightborn. I guess when both of those players clash, it's pretty funny.

To your point why killer would use (the lord) lightborn, i can give you my reasoning.
Just like many, many survivor say on these forums when called up on swf and it's advantages, i just want to relaxe and have fun. Dealing with flashlights and clicks spammer is just annoying and lightborn lets me ignore that altogether.
They already mostly get used when i as the killer cant move in animation lock and I can't be bothered with last second switches when i have the perk equipped all the time next to my trusty bbq.

Lightborn is wonderful. I love running it. It allows me to be lazy about avoiding flashlights, which means I don't have to slug people when I just want to play casual and go for my BBQ 4-stack. It also lets me get some easy downs when someone is unable to comprehend that their flashlight is not having an effect. Plus, it's nice when I pick a survivor up, someone attempts to blind me, I hook the one on my shoulder, and then I go straight to where the other is hiding because their aura is still showing. Or the hilarious moments when I kick a gen with Blast Mine and I get to see exactly where the survivor who set that up is crouching.

I wish survivors would understand that blinding at a pallet is not very useful, because the killer can hear.

I find that I'm very glad when someone uses their flashlight at a pallet, because that's several seconds that they should be using to move away from me. As an M1 killer main, I find those few extra seconds invaluable in hooking them a few seconds later, especially since they don't realize that I can still close the distance even when I can't see them, because I can usually still hear them (on rare occasions, I even manage to get a hit while blinded).
Lightborn isn't worth running against one flashlight. Against two, I might run it, especially if they seem to be in a flashlight-dependent SWF or their usernames and cosmetics indicate that they might be annoying (four Neas with flashy cosmetics and names like Boon: Flashbangsave or any amount of vanilla Dwights are immediately suspect). Against three, good chance that I'll run it, although I had a game yesterday where I didn't bother and none of them even tried to use their flashlights - 4K. Against four, they probably don't realize how bad of a strategy that is, and Lightborn is going to be fun.

My one issue is I only have it on two characters because the RNG gods have forsaken me. Doc and Trapper. Plus we can’t switch killers once the lobby is active. Unlike the Survivors.

Not with flashlights but get it a lot if I find survivors by hearing their foot steps or breathing.
The moment you hear a survivor and go get them you get the wall hacks accusation a lot.

I don’t think I’ve been called a hacker, but I did have someone rage about how I was a “trash NOED killer once”. I wasn’t running NOED, I had Thanatophobia and the icons looks similar. And even if I had run NOED I got a 4k before all the gens were done so it wouldn’t have even mattered. 😄

I use it sometimes because it's funny trying to pretend to hide it all game, only for them to be utterly disappointed. Not everyone is trying to sweat their butts off.

I once got called a hacker on the first Onryou day because I suddenly stood beside a Meg and scarred the living daylights out of her, but it was meant in good spirit.

I once got a 3k with hatch escape and the survivor complimented my gameplay, but then noticed that I had NOED on my build and then said "ugh, but you're a NOED killer. I take it back."

I remember my first experience with bbq as a survivor, I was hiding and clown ran opposite of the map straight to me and I was like #########? But I read his perks at the end, didn’t even know that existed until then
