Am I the only one slightly still in my feels about the Legacy Exclusivity?
I just wanted to legacy my Spirit and Huntress. I wanna cry.
And I don't know if its me, but I barely see people rockin' their legacy cosmetics. What's up with that?

Dunno about Huntress, but I'm pretty sure Spirit didn't have legacy skins.
As for your question, I imagine most players (that still have it after the mass wipes) left by now.

Huntress didn't have legacy either.
And yes I also feel this way about legacy because I lost my legacy! Give it back to me BHVR :)

these killers didn't have any legacy, plus the remaining players with legacy who still play this game are probably so so rare or They rather use cosmetics most of the time.

Neither one of them had any. Legacy was available for the 4 original survivors (Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Jake), the 3 original killers (Trapper, Wraith, Billy) and both of The Last Breath DLC characters (Nea and Nurse)

I'm slightly irritated about it as well. All the other cosmetics we grind for during events were given away so people wouldn't get scammed with codes and everyone could enjoy them. All cosmetics except legacy. It's funny though because if you bring this up a lot of people will take your head off. Hell I don't even want the same legacy. I would take a different color at this point. But I would have liked a chance to at least earn it and that was why I was hoping we were getting something like that for our P3 characters when the rework dropped.

I hope when they uncap the prestige there’s a special reward for getting to something crazy like prestige 100. Not legacy, but something.

The people I know with legacy usually don't bother with it because they get accused of being hackers every match, people get determined to tunnel them (I assume so they can say they killed someone with legacy)
Also one I know crossprogged to stadia a while back and you can imagine the drama in pre/postgame chat when steam players see someone with legacy and the crossplay symbol

Can someone explain to us year 3 and newer players how the legacy thing worked, what it entailed, and how did some circumvent the system to reap the rewards?

In late 2016, the Bloodweb system was greatly revamped to reduce the grind of leveling. Individual Bloodwebs were generated smaller, and nodes were now priced based on their rarity as opposed to the ring they were placed in the Bloodweb. Inner nodes cost 3k BP, middle nodes cost 5k BP and outer nodes cost 8k BP. This was regardless of the rarity or quality of the node.
For every piece of Prestige a player had achieved prior to November 24th, 2016, they would earn the respective Legacy piece. Every character available at the time with the exception of Michael Myers & Laurie Strode were eligible for Legacy.
Since that date, Legacy has been completely exclusive and has never been available for grabs at all, and the devs have gone on record saying it never will.
Here's my Legacy 3 Jake. It's just a reskin of the default outfit with glowing embers burned into it.

I couldn't care less tbh. I don't like how it looks like and having something most don't doesn't really make me feel anything.
Even if those were skins that look really cool to me, I wouldn't care because we already have a lot of cosmetics we can choose from anyway.
