Please use this as a moment of realization BHVR
I know the mods and team members see all these threads popping up on the forum about toxicity on the first day and terrible matchmaking. This is just the first day of 13 of the event. I've seen so many people say that they tried to have fun only for a toxic killer/survivor to ruin the match. This event highlights all of the major issues this game has health wise and I hope the devs will take that into account. Oh and for anyone being toxic, hope you like long queue times cause that is where it will lead

My insidious ig agitation monstrous shrine bubba is on killing spree with all the flans thanks you

Enjoy waiting 15+ minutes for a queue when everyone inevitably stops playing

don't dignify people like that with a response honestly
seems like they are just trying to rile people up, they'll get bored if nobody responds

I switched and played chilled killer which is quite relaxing.
After i got this Silent Bell, all seeing blood, Mori Wraith and a Tournament level Freddy - so unfun people around. I don´t get it.

Yea it took me less than 30 minutes to realize this wasn't worth it. Theres nothing from the anniversary event I really care to obtain anyway. I may try again in a couple days to see if I can get better matches but honestly I'm just waiting for the next RE chapter.

I'm well aware of what they are doing. I just wanted to point it out because these will be the same people whining days later about how they can't find a match and no one wants to play after having their experience ruined

Talkikg about queues, how are queue time in survivor world ?
Cos i get a match within 10 seconds as a killer. Seems like killer left already, dont worry, plenty of survivors left to bully

Can you explain how “toxic” survivors and killers are “ruining” matches? This is a really vague and generic comment. Do you have specific examples?
2 -
It's miserable. But what makes it worse is the camping and hard tunnelling. So far today in a majority of matches I have been face camped in the basement, Tunnelled off hook while my team were running right in front of the killer but they didn't care, Hard tunnelled into mori, Slugged and left to bleed out while being stared at twice. I'm afraid to even try the other side. Might just have to stop playing till the next tome level comes out. Can't deal with this and not having any fun

My sweat nurse is enjoying the flans

Everyone will end up leaving again. This event was supposed to be a fun time where old people could get back into the game and celebrate with everyone who just started playing but inevitably people ruin it. Think I'm done till the next level of the tome comes out

Thats the meta, stop crying about it
Killer's only chance to win is to tunnel someone out nowadays, thats a fact and that wont change till bhvr slow down objectives
People wont let you farm just to ensure you have fun,. Do survivor take killer fun in account when they play ? No, so why should killer do it
1 -
For survivor, see my reply above. But I have seen multiple posts from people who play killer about how survivors are BM'ing them at doors for not being good, refusing to leave the game/do the gens because they know they can run the killer without going down, etc
1 -
Try killer. Go around and search your mask.
I play Doctor - shock sometimes - which gives some points, then i hit some survs on the way and kick gens or pallets.
With all the offerings every game was like over 50k BP.
2 -
You should try reading for once. Not once have I said anything about farming. However it would be nice if I had a game that was actually a 4v1 instead of a 1v1. Based off the threads you've made in the past I find it hilarious you say that I'm crying
1 -
it´s usually Survivors who brings Toxicity, otherwise why on Earth you would have a 20s stun flashlights, flashbang, head on, decisive strike and Borrowed Time?
0 -
None of what you said is inherently toxic though
2 -
It is both sides. I have seen complaints equally from people playing each role. It is there on both sides
1 -
Nice detective work you did there and surely you are onto something
0 -
I can see how it is perceived as such as it can feel miserable when it adds up. But you are right, nothing mentioned is necessarily toxic. Now refusing to complete gens because you know you can bully a killer without going down, that is toxic

Hh

This actually made me laugh my *** off. Notice how he is still at it? Guess he isn't getting enough attention

That seems like pretty normal gameplay to me
0 -
It may seem normal because that is what people are used to, but that is my point. It should not be normal to target a player out so much that they can't even participate in the event. That's what I'm saying. The fact that you can do that is really being highlighted during this event and I hope the devs learn from it

My queues are only slow in the evening, which makes sense as people get home from work and want to play with their friends so there are more survivors online. Morning and afternoons as survivor it takes 10 seconds to find a match. I always hear about these long survivor queues but I have no issues.

I'm mostly going to play killer and just unlock the masks and do the tome challenges and let the survivors go. Then hopefully toward the end of the event the toxic players will be bored again and leave and I can push for the survivor tome challenges.

Honestly games are not too bad for me on either side. I mean, they are not worse than usual at least.
Maybe because I am not dead set on getting max bp and cosmetics. I just play the game without any expectation.
0 -
I haven't really either. But I at least expected to be able to partake in the event without being removed from the game. I at least expected a 4v1 instead of the killer wanting a 1v1 every match I spawn in
1 -
I've started using Bubba in this event and just camping a hook, feels really good seeing the end game chat.
More games like this please.
1 -
Frankly, BHVR will probably not do anything about it. I'd love to be proven wrong in this case.
2 -
I'm sure there are some legitimate complaints out there but I imagine that quite a few of the posts are stemming from players like the Kate I faced earlier. She clicked at me during chase and popped a gen in my face. I wasn't even camping but jumping on that gen before I had even left the hook got her a front row seat in the basement. I swear I could hear her berating me before she let herself die on stage 2.

What are expecting BHVR to do? People are playing the game as they always have, with toxicity on both sides.
0 -
Everyone has their own definition of what is toxic, i personally find clicking macro and standing at the exit gate to be toxic, even though yes i can make you leave, why can't you just walk out instead of wasting everyone's time.
Oh please, it's free cosmetics, every man and his dog will be playing no matter what happens.

If I had a solution, I would've mentioned it. Toxicity is significantly more abundant during events, which is what this thread is about. No one is denying there's toxicity in general, but to believe that the toxicity levels of an event are comparable to regular matches is ridiculous.

If I had a solution, I would've mentioned it. No one is arguing that toxicity has always existed in the game, as this is a thread focused on the event. To say that the event toxicity is comparable to regular matches is ridiculous.

No there is always a surplus of camping and tunneling killers during events. The reason is a lot of newer killer players or rusty killer players are hopping on for the event. Usually down to a lot of players incentivised by massive bp gain or event challenges.
Im not going to pretend it dosent happen im going to explain exactly why. Whether or not the game designers choose to actually alleviate and break this damn cycle is up to them. So when a newer killer starts they have the following resources to help. Sweet fa. Thats right a lot of key perks that make killler playable is locked behind god damn teachables.
Good baseline regression perks are non existent. So what do new player do they push out a survivor to slow the game down. Tunneling and camping! And why shouldnt they! Bar some assinine social contract why should they accept there never gonna win a game till they get the perks they need. Its so moronic how there is zero baseline competitve mechanics to encourage killers to hunt.
