I hate the challenges where I have to hide... I usually wish to face a Legion, because then, after they hit me with Frenzy, I start following them. The only way I found to do the challenge without throwing completely the game.
And the first about vaulting... Uh... I can't wait to do it, it sounds fun to mess up a chase on purpose.

In case you haven't been paying attention, pretty much 60% of all tome challenges require you to play stupid.

Yeah the vault hit challenge as survivor feels more like a killer challenge than a survivor challenge imo

Exactly, letting yourself be injured on specific moments shouldn't ever be a survivor challenge. What will be next, "get hooked during endgame colapse"?

I have one better "Get sacrificed on your first hook 5 times"

I'd rather a garbage challenge that means I lose the game, but I can get by going for it than "unhook someone who unhooked you earlier" that you just get stuck on for a week.
Though truth be told, I think we'd all prefer neither.

And the killer challenge that's the same is let yourself be stunned then land a hit.
And as for standing near a killer for however long that should be easy seeing every idiot does it at the gates.

######### like this makes me question if they're putting awful challenges like this in so that both sides play worse during the event so bad players on the other side feel like they're doing better and getting 'bullied' less for the event. The result is just both sides being mad at these ######### challenges though.

Most people who care about getting challenges done don't like to play with the "it'll happen when it happens" attitude, especially not for a tome which we only have 2 weeks on.

I've only got 12 hours myself as im on a plane in the morning overseas for 3 weeks, so ill miss it. But my pallet eating challenge was done in maybe 4-10 games.

You can easily complete the challenge by just playing the game, its you who are willingly throwing.

In high level matches, doing any strange tome challenges are pretty much equivalent of throwing.

For the "Nerves of Bloody Steel" one I slotted No Mither and brought a 'The Game' offering. I got tunneled hard but at least I got the challenge done, thanks to a friend I was playing with (who distracted the killer long enough LOL)
For the Vault-one I literally slow vaulted ######### while uninjured just to get hit so I am done with it. One game we lost cause of it but I was just happy to get the challenge done ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wonder if DbD explode if add challenges like "be chased by a killer for 4 generators repaired", "hook each survivor 3 times", "heal survivor, repair gen, be chased for 90 seconds and escape"?
