Am I blind or I'm not seeing Sprint Burst here?
So BHVR Tweeted this and I'm sure they're reworking Dead Hard to be more fair but if this is the case, Wouldn't people just switch to Sprint Burst?
Like even Mods even agreed that Sprint Burst is as powerful as Dead Hard when used right.

Sprint Burst can be and is just as good as Dead Hard when used correctly
The big difference comes in how the perk is used, what it allows survivors to do and how fun it feels for the killer to deal with it.
You see a survivor with Sprint Burst, they use it typically when they are healthy and at the start of a chase. You also know "ok this guy has SB good to know."
A survivor with DH, you only know it's there when they use it the first time and then you have to play around it basically every other time which can often put the killer in spots where they just lose chases simply because they DH'd when they needed to
A survivor hitting you with a 99'd sprint burst mid chase sucks, but that actually takes some skill and effort on the survivor side and imo is way less frustrating than DH for distance

If people started to complain about sprint burst then you'll know what kind of playerbase this game has.
IMO It's one of the most skilled and balance perk in the game if used correctly.

How would they nerf SB anyway. It has fair counters and survivors need to walk for keep it. Or they need to hold it at 99%. It does not need any change and i don't know how we would nerf it.

I've said it elsewhere, but I'm not personally convinced that Sprint Burst is gonna be the replacement of choice for a majority of survivors. It doesn't give the same kind of value as Dead Hard, and it takes a lot more micromanaging, so I think a hefty chunk of players will be looking elsewhere.
Also, it's... fine? I don't know what changes you'd even give it beyond really minor number tweaks.

Sprint Burst is a solid perk and people will probably use it more if Dead Hard is nerfed, but currently Dead Hard is definitely the better perk. There's a reason 75% of survivors use Dead Hard and not Sprint Burst.

SB doesn't need a nerf, it's perfectly balanced in that it forces the survivor to walk everywhere

which i would say for a killer would be preferable because that is time gained due to slower surv movement and zoomies at the start of chase may be annoying but made up a bit cuz of the first part and doesnt feel as impactful. Maybe the slower killers will struggle idk.

Maybe because sprint burst is actually harder to use efficiently,, 99% a SB to use it mid chase is kinda hard compared to pressing DH to reach a pallet or vault
