Does P3 reward vary by amount of perks unlocked?
Does it matter how many tier 3 perks we have on a prestige 3 character for whatever the reward is? For example I have all 97 tier 3 perks on prestiege 3 leatherface and only 80 t3 perks on p3 Sadako. Will leatherface get a different reward than Sadako? I really need to know how to spend points and details are very vague

My understanding is that you will now be able to prestige beyond 3, so depending on how much you've put into a character, they will be grandfathered into higher prestige.
So your Leatherface may become Prestige 12 after the change, while Sadako might end up sitting at 11.

To get the unique reward you must be P3 before the update hits. Your characters will gain Prestige levels after the update hits too, but you won't get the reward if they're not P3 before it hits. So a P0L50 character that gets bumped to P6 due to having all perks will still not get the unique reward.
But a P3L1 character will get the unique reward. So the choice is yours, should you Prestige now and lose your items, but gain a unique reward, or should you wait to keep your items?
I personally feel like any character that gets bumped up to P3 or more should get the unique reward anyway, since prestiging kind of always was a scam, you shouldn't be punished for not having done it by losing out on a special reward. And I say this as someone who rushed every character possible to P3 without caring about rare items or offerings being lost.

I really hope the next Prestige levels beyond 3 will be purely just number like a Devotion level aka worthless, because I don't want to see "oh if I want to fully max out character I need to prestige 10x times more" or something. Wouldn't help with grind when it comes to this.

They said prestige after 3 would be purely to flex on stream so I assume so

Same reward will be given for any character that is at P3 when the rework goes live regardless of level or perks. So if I prestige 3 Dwight, leave him at level 1 with only his three, tier 1 perks on him, and I have Meg P3'd with every perk unlocked at tier 3 at the time the rework goes live, they will both get the same reward.

That absolutely sucks.
There's literally no incentive to P3 right now considering we currently lose all perks and offerings, and we know that if we wait until the changes we won't lose them.

Yeah, "we gonna fix grind but if you want to get the reward you must grind anyway" is really weird.
